I recently made a friend on twitter. Her name is Fatima. She’s a blogger in blogspot. She’s very sweet and I really like the theme on her blog. It’s very neat and she takes a lot of very good pictures. She blogs about beauty, fashion, food and lifestyle.

While having a conversation with her we had an idea on collaborating with a certain topic.We decided to blog about our summer necessities.

People have different necessities in Summer. I mean, how can you enjoy the season if you don’t have these things!? Or rather how can you enjoy Summer without burning or something like that!? :D

These are personally what I think you need in the summer: (Major KEYS on my necessities are to MOISTURIZE, HYDRATE AND PROTECT!)

Sunglasses. Who doesn’t need sunglasses in their life. They protect our eyes from damage and discomfort caused by sunlight and of course it’s one of the best accessories you can wear! :p

This is my favorite as of the moment. I bought it from Penshoppe but it doesn’t have a name on it. I like it because it’s big and doesn’t go up when I smile. :)

You can check their sunglasses here. I believe Quay is very popular as of the moment. I haven’t tried it yet but their sunglasses are very stylish.

2. Moisturizer. You need to moisturize your face everyday not just for a certain season. But it’s better if you choose something that has SPF on it to protect against the radiation from the sun.

The clean and clear moisturizer is my holy grail moisturizer. I like it because it doesn’t grease up my face. I am an oily freak so anything that will make me greasy I stay away from it. The Olay Day Cream was my favorite before the clean and clear one. I still use this now but I use this more when I’m out of the sun for a longer time as this has sunscreen.

If you have all the other things I’ll mention here this is perfect but if you don’t it’s much better if you wear a much higher spf moisturizer for your face.

3. Lip Balm. You don’t want to neglect your lips right? My lips are personally drier in the summer so I need to moisturize it. I bought a lip balm from human nature and it’s currently what I’m obsessing with because it’s peppermint! Lol. I don’t really like a lot of lip balms but I’m a sucker for flavored products! :)

I like the human nature one but if I really want a balm that moisturizes longer, I’ll choose my Pure Paw Paw ointment. I mostly use this at night time though so that when I wake up I’ll have a more supple lips! :p

4. Skindinavia Sprays. I always love the primer and the setting spray from Skindinavia. It really does what it says. My makeup last all throughout the day. I still do sweat but my makeup doesn’t fade one bit! These are my holy grails!  :)

Honestly, I use the finishing spray more if I’m in a hurry. It still last long.If you want your makeup to glide smoothly on your face then you might as well use the primer spray. It also say that it reduces large pores that causes pimples so that’s a plus!

5. SPF Lotion. This is probably the most important product you need in the summer. I mean you don’t want to burn your skin right? If you have one for your face and lips you also need not neglect your body. On my opinion any suntan lotion would be fine. It’s really about preference. But I heard the Coola one is good. What is you favorite?

6. Hat. Just like sunglasses this is both a fashion accessory and a necessity since it covers your face from the sun rays. I personally don’t wear hats but most of you do so I included it here.

This is just a random hat I found at the department store in SM Lanang. :p

7. Bronzer. I personally would still want to wear makeup but I don’t want to wear a lot of it. One product that I won’t forget to wear even if I have to get ready in 5 minutes is always a bronzer! My favorite one to wear on a minimal makeup look is my Elf warm bronzer. I just swirl my brush all over it to get a perfect glowing skin. It does have a blush on it so the outcome is a light blush tone with gold undertone. It’s really flattering on my opinion. I always get compliments when I wear this. :)

Note: This has a sheen on it but it’s a subtle sheen so it depends on you if you want to try it or not. But one thing’s for sure. This is worth the try! :)

8.  Swimsuit. You need one of course! What will you do in the beach if you will not be swimming anyway?! So might as well choose one that will make you both cute and comfy. I believe Hot Miami Styles have a lot of options for you to choose. :)

9. Water Bottle. Who doesn’t need water? It would be scorching hot so it’s better if you have a water bottle with you all the time. Dehydration and heat stroke are two of the things you don’t want to get during summer. It’s always important to take care of your body on the outside but what good it will do if you don’t take care what’s on the inside. As much as possible. Drink lots of water. It’s the best beauty product you’ll ever need. :)
