Decided to wet block this shawl to make it easier to stretch out the lacey pattern to its fullest potential. Since this is cotton I’m hoping it will dry relatively quickly in the warm weather.

Latest crochet work! Yarn is Hobbii Black Friday cotton from a couple years ago. ♥️
In celebration of finishing five of my six shawls for my wedding I have released the pattern for my "on the fly" bridesmaid shawl.
It's made of Bamboo pop on a US 6 needle. Because I hate knitting the same thing twice I did attempt to make this pattern customizable. The lace is both charted and writen out for convenience.

I apologize if the charting is off, I don't read charts for lace often and have never practiced before hand.
New cast on = happiness!
i was going to post everything i made this year in one post, and then i forgot about photo limits.
here is the remaining knitting i did this year! big ol triangle shawl, it’s huge and warm.
*checks time* awwww yiss, not midnight yet which means it is still
FINISHED! OBJECT! FRIDAAAAAAY!!!!
There will be more pictures in proper light, but you KNOW I couldn’t wait to take and share pictures right away. I’ve been working on this one for WEEKS!
And as you can see, it was promptly determined to be fit for a tiny fuzzy queen
I think she approves. And then she graciously fucked off so I could take a full photo and some catless closeups
For scale, this is on a queen size bed. And because I only finished a few minutes ago, it is as yet unblocked. The yarn is Nazli Gelin Garden Metallic; 99% Egyptian cotton, 1% glitter yarn. The pattern is mostly Rozetti Yarns Crochet Shawl free from Universal Yarns; I wasn’t wild about the edge as written so I did my own shenanigan for the final row.
As I have no special occasions in my future that this shawl would be great for, I am definitely putting it up for sale. Matrimony, festivals, wandering the moors with a candelabra, embracing your inner Stevie Nicks - choose your own occasion and make me an offer.
Daylight pictures coming hopefully tomorrow

My mom wearing the shawl I made her this summer <3
Also pictures from my cousin modeling it for me because my mom's a lil blurry hehe
