The creator of Dragon Age can't secure funding for his new RPG and is already thinking about returning to the series. Writer David Gaider revealed his Summerfall studio is tirelessly hunting for a publisher for an airship heist RPG, so far with zero luck. Publishers are TERRIFIED to gamble on fresh IPs, making this project a make-or-break for the whole studio. If it flops, Gaider might just crawl back to Dragon Age 😬

If you hadn’t already heard, David Gaider has co-founded a new studio in Australia called Summerfall Studios. I am excited about this because a) I love Dorian Pavus and Dragon Age so I can’t wait to see what kind of game they’re making, and b) when I went to Australia last year to see elidoo (who is now working at Summerfall as well) I got to meet Liam, Ben and Elizabeth from the team who are amazing and fun people.
