Summer Studying Challenge of @myhoneststudyblr
1st August - What do you do when you go to the beach?
Usually I would go swimming, ride a boat, or drive the jet ski. But that's usually in the morning or early in the afternoon. If it's in the late afternoon, I would just walk around and draw on the sand hahahaha.
2nd August - What do you like most about the beach?
The weather is nice??? Idk I just feel very relaxed there. There's also a lot of fun activities I can do there.
3rd August - What is your least favourite thing about the beach?
Seaweed probably? And the sand when it's super hot hahahaha
4th August - What is your song of the summer this year?
Don't have any. I just listen to the same songs LOL
5th August - What is your ultimate summertime song?
Don't have any
What Are Your Goals For Summer 2020?
Hi ladies! Summer is quickly approaching us and as we prepare to open up states, the only thing on my mind is how this summer will treat me. The summertime is my favorite season and it brings so much joy and fun before facing yet another hard school semester. There are so many spots to check out in great weather, plan trips with your girls, or even plan a baecation with your man. The summertime is for the good laughs and to forget about the horrible start to 2020. What exactly do you have planned for the summer? Any huge job/internship opportunities? However, if you don’t, there’s nothing wrong with that. You still have plenty of time to plan out your summer and of course, I’m here to help! Let’s get this party started.
1. Before we plan anything fun, how are your finances? If they aren’t doing as well as you want them to be, it’s fine. This calls for looking for a new place of employment and finding ways to accumulate multiple sources of income. You have to put your priorities first before you decide to go out for drinks with your friends or cash out on a summer shopping spree. There are tons of job opportunities; all you have to do is search, polish up your resume, and put on your interview clothing. You got this, girl!
2. Although COVID-19 took away our flights and cruises, there are other ways you can plan a trip with either your friends, family or significant other. Road trips are IN this season! You can rent a nice car and put some miles on it. You can spend valuable time with your loved ones, while enjoying the scenery around you. You can stop at multiple places, book beautiful hotel rooms, and jam out to your playlists the whole trip. You should think about it before you completely give up on your vacation dreams this summer.
3. Try something new! It’s beautiful weather all summer so this calls for a newfound confidence. One way to flaunt this new confidence is to get into something you’ve never thought you would do. One summer, I decided to take modelling more seriously so this gave me an opportunity to shoot a swimwear line at the beach and to shoot at various places in NYC. You can find this new hobby exciting and will give you something to do, that’s productive.
4. Plan self-care weekends. If you don’t want to surround yourself with a bunch of people or want to take a break from the party life, get away from all of the noise! Spas are very calming and you will be able to pamper yourself, while getting away. You can book a hotel room for yourself and indulge in the beautiful scenery. Sometimes, all it takes is a couple of days in your own solitude to bring back your sanity.
5. Switch up your usual style and go BOLD! I recently cut all of my hair and it’s definitely the look I want for the summer. It brings me more confidence and challenges me to be different from the usual look. A new hairstyle or a new wardrobe can give you the confidence you want for the summer. Go for the bold color, the risky clothing, do it all!
Sleeping over on a boat tonight out at Davis Park so if I’m not active until tomorrow night that is why.
Pray for me I get sea sick 🙃
nah, just the usual... LOL!
