Char Y is the kind of guy to get out of bed looking like eye candy, brushes his teeth with a shot, and gets to class exactly 3 minutes after it starts, only to use the same, lame excuse “I was in the bathroom”. Not even trying to be sincere. He doesn’t care, nor does the professor, apparently.

Okay so he's a boy from the slums-ish, probably a cria or a mandrake, and oof homophobia is big here, really, but it depends on the family, the place and all, you can make it as you like because it really has nuances. Some communities/slums have supportive people and some don't, some crime bosses here are gay, some are trans!women and travestis, some are homophobic, etc, crime is very diverse in brazil lmfao. And I mention crime because slums are often, if not always, protected and ruled by the criminals, the owners of the hills, the gun traders and drug dealers who own some part of the police, who can pay for the security and for the cops not to invade and kill them all, bla bla corruption.

Char X could probably have been raised in the slums but his mamma could be very religious, and you know christianity, the gay is big bad, so... yeah if you want to give him some religious trauma there it is. He could probably have known of a crime or actually witnessed people killing someone and the reason being 'he was a faggot' so whoop, liking boys is a no no.

If char X wanna pick on char Y for being gay, he can use the bad gay words of brazil, some slurs for the boy:
