After seeing your animation of Dogday and Allister I ship them so much and I cannot help but share my thoughts on the idea of their ship.

I imagine it'd be one of those instances where I can see it being a slow and steady relationship, where Dogday is the patient one while Allister takes his time warming up to him.

Dogday would be one of, if not one of the only things that gives Allister a reason to get up. And on Dogday's side, Allister is someone who listens without judging him and listens to his problem. This is just something they'd be used to doing until it becomes more than that.

On top of Allister being a person for comfort that Dogday could look to, Dogday's uplifting presence is a huge motivator for Allister in general, which encourages him to want to try more.

I just like the idea of a big, imposing, gentle yet lazy alligator fawning over his touch starved, optimistic ball of sunshine who supports every step he takes.

I can see the idea that while Allister doesn't talk much because he didn't see the merit in it, he shows how much he appreciates Dogday in physical actions. Imagine small displays of affection like wrapping him in his arms, or hand holding. It may not seem like much, but Dogday loves it.

And if Dogday ever overworks himself, Allister basically forces him to relax by making him lay down, and doesn't stop holding him until he agrees to relax. In order to help him do that, he learned how to make tea from Picky because he figured it would help. He's probably really good at it by now.

Can you imagine Dogday just laying on top of the gator who's holding him tenderly in his arms while he lays on the bed? Honestly, I think if it weren't for Allister, Dogday wouldn't relax as much.
