Anon who asked about otta vet care, so glad you liked/loved Droid yeeter 5,000 comment, because when I first seen the example showing how they handle threats to the pod and threw that droid i just thought "yes sir, that's the certified droid yeeter 5,000 right there!" it's been stuck in my head ever since then 😂

We have the Droid Stomper ™, Droid Kicker ™, Droid Whacker 3000 ™, and now Droid Yeeter 5000 ™.

As a code name, the squad usually call the ottas the ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles), but I feel like they'd quickly add DY-5K (Droid Yeeter 5000) to the list once they see how far the ottas can launch things. 😂

So I had to close up my mum's horsefield tonight and I am very much scared of horses so to cope with that

Was thinking of the ottas the whole time

and now they're stuck in my head and I wanna draw her horses as ottas - especially Eva bc 1) she's very pretty and 2) she has a very small nose and I think that'd be funny as an otta

Aww, Eva sounds so cute! I get being scared of horses, though. They're big, flighty, and more often than not they act like complete dinguses. Lol I'm glad to hear the thought of the ottas helped, though! <33 I look forward to the art! : D And in the spirit of designing ottas based on real life horses, here's a doodle of what I think the horses I used to own would look like as ottas!

I just finished reading about the the Ottabura, but I was wondering are service ottas possible kinda like service massifs or are they too big?

Originally, the shortest an otta could be was around 5 ft at the shoulder, so too big to be a standard service-type animal. However, some other folks have also played around with making their otta oc's service animal sized, and I genuinely love the idea.

So at this point, I'm going to officially say that yes, ottas can be that small.

The explanation is that since ottas have been domesticated for a really long time, they have been bred to come in a large variety of sizes and colors (like horses or dogs, for example). I would say the smallest they would get is around 3 ft at the shoulder. But if you're making your own otta characters, feel free to make them smaller than that if it works better!

ok. I got a fun one for you, but some context first. There’s a video of kids in a backyard and parents chatting. One little boy runs around the pool and the mom asks “what do you got there?” The boy screams excitedly “A knife!” Mom yells “No!” And runs after him. So here’s my question. If Sundown wasn’t a group of highly trained soldiers, who would be the one with something they shouldn’t have and who’d be the one chasing them?

Though Knox would absolutely be the kid running around with the knife, even in adulthood he has a knack for suddenly showing up with things he shouldn't have. So instead of a knife, I think he would show up with something like this:

Sergeant "Put that thing back where it came from or so help me" Kess would be chasing after him in all scenarios.
