Hey! I was wondering what your story is about? I've been reading the OC asks and they sound super interesting and I'm v curious :)

ooh thanks for asking! the story i’m writing about – specifically the one featuring diana, kiera, aleksandr, jericho, ataro, and gray as my OCs – is titled Evenfall, and it’s… still a work in progress, but this is the synopsis I had written:

There’s a reason the land of Lux was given its name. It is the land of light and sun, the most prosperous country in the world. Diana has been living the past nineteen years of her life in service to the continual brightness of her great nation, but there were times where she would crave something dark and deep like the moon.

Cast in the shadow of Lux is the neighboring land of Umbra, home to the Solmekrum. Led by a girl named Kiera, they work to try and achieve a brightness like that of Lux, just like the moon reflecting the light of the sun.

But when a sudden plague strikes the heart of Lux, the people are quick to blame Umbra. After all, it is easier to shine after casting the brightest light into darkness, so they say. As one of its top officers, Diana is sent by Lux officials to investigate the Solmekrum and their leader, Kiera.

When Diana crosses paths with Kiera, motives and truths become clearer and a shocking new realization comes to surface. Real enemies begin to show themselves, and suddenly the mission becomes darker and more sinister than ever. To what lengths will secrets be protected?

… it’s still a little rough around the edges, mostly because I probably need to get a solid plot going, but that’s the working synopsis!
