Rain and a Cup of Coffee || Sungje & Chen
"Its like fucking monsoon, what is this weather—" Chen cursed aloud, taking urgent steps to any shelter he could find. He was left no choice to get out and run when the bus shelter was bustling with more people than its supposed capacity, and there he was with his hair flattened against his face from the relentless rain. It didn’t seem like it was going to stop any time soon either.
In the midst of his searches, he managed to find one, fortunately empty, cafe — he really wasn’t in the mood to bump into someone he knew — and he stepped in without a second thought, though he stayed in the doorway. He didn’t like the idea of leaving driplets of water on the clean floor of the shop. He stood still for a few moments, catching his breath until a man emerged from the door behind the counter and Chen jumped, holding up his hands in defense.
"Don’t mind me, I’m just… taking shelter from the rain…" He said breathily, flicking off some water from his hair while giving a small shy laugh. "D-Do you think I could a warm drink? I think I’ll be here a while…"
