@apartamentomagazine Below is an excerpt from the interview with South Korean singer @hyukoh2000 included in the new issue 22 of #apartamentomagazine. Interview by #jiunnah. Photography by #SunhyeShin. #ohhyuk . 'At 25, Oh Hyuk is the leader, vocalist, and guitar player for the band Hyukoh. The group’s name is an inversion of his own. Oh suddenly found himself a symbol of South Korean youth culture with his album 20, which he released as a 21-year-old uni student working part-time at Vans. For young South Koreans having trouble articulating who they were and sensing problems in the pursuit of their dreams, Hyukoh’s frank music was something that could be listened to on repeat. It wasn’t just the songs they were crazy about. People went wild for the offbeat videos, unique album covers, and their idiosyncratic sense of fashion. At the centre of it all was Oh himself.'(Seoul, Korea에서) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpuHpgeDcLN/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1733rr3um8d8t
