God, you hated this. It was a Saturday night, you were sure everyone you knew was out partying and having a good time, but you were at home. You were wearing your favourite fluffy pyjamas, eating snacks and watching romance movies by yourself.

It was times like these that you missed your girlfriend the most. Sunmi was promoting her latest single and you’d just finished promoting, it was like someone out there was purposely doing everything in their power to make sure you never got a chance to see one another, and you hated it.

You should’ve been spending the night with Sunmi in your arms, catching up and just spending long-awaited time together. But instead, you were by yourself, for what seemed like the hundredth night in a row.

You found yourself slowly drifting off with a half-finished bowl of popcorn still in your lap, some shitty, generic movie barely holding your interest as you gazed at the television with hooded eyes.

Your head snapped up as you heard the sound of a door closing, blinking the sleep out of your eyes as you looked around to see where the noise had come from. Your jaw almost hit the ground as you saw a tired, but happy looking Sunmi standing in your doorway. You leapt off the couch, popcorn flying off your lap as you ran straight into your girlfriend’s arms.

“What the hell are you doing here?” You exclaimed, your head finding its way to her neck.

“I finished up promotions a little early, so I have more time to prepare for the awards shows coming up, I have a couple of days off.” She replied. This news was like Christmas had come early, you couldn’t have asked for anything better.

You could almost feel electricity running through you at the sound of Sunmi giggling against you at your excitement, and you could do nothing but press yourself even closer into your girlfriend’s body, if that was even possible.

You awkwardly walked towards the kitchen with Sunmi still holding on tight, her arms wrapped around your waist, your head buried into her neck.

Sunmi let go, just to lift you up onto the kitchen counter. Her arms came back around you as your legs wrapped around her torso to pull her closer into you. You tilted Sunmi’s head up so you could look into her captivating brown orbs that stared ever so lovingly back up at you.

“I missed you baby.” You said, smiling at your girlfriend when she grinned at your words.

“I missed you so much more, you have no idea.” She replied, to which you just shook your head and replied, “I think I do.”

No more words were exchanged between you two as you leaned down, closing the already small gap between you and pressing your lips against Sunmi’s.

You pulled away after a few seconds, admiring the barefaced beauty that was your girlfriend, and how she was finally back by your side. You just smiled and kissed her again, you could never get enough of the addicting taste of her lips.

Sunmi lifted you so your legs were still around her waist, carrying you towards your coach where she laughed at the sight of the popcorn and sweet wrappers haphazardly discarded across the piece of furniture.

She put you down on the couch, sitting down beside you and stretching out, making the cutest little squeals as she moved, her long limbs being twisted into all kinds of silly formations before she finally stopped, curling up on the couch, resting her head on your shoulder. Your arm instinctively moved to wrap around her, always pulling her closer. You pulled the blanket on the couch over both of you, before hitting play on some random movie on Netflix, not paying too much attention now that your girlfriend was finally black beside you.

After some time, the movie long forgotten, you were on Sunmi’s lap, your hands laced around her neck as you kissed her, neither of you ever wanting to pull away from the kiss for more than a breath of air.

Sunmi’s hands wandered along your back, lower, then up again, as she got lost in the taste of your lips. When you finally pulled back she smiled, your swollen lips still eager for more.

“I love you Y/N, I really do. Thank you for always waiting for me, I promise I’ll always do the same for you.” She whispered, capturing your lips in another kiss.

“Y/N! You idiot, stop messing around.” Your girlfriend exclaimed as you ran around the kitchen, accidentally almost knocking a plate over.

It was the morning after you were finally reunited with your girlfriend... And it was an exciting night, to say the least. You two were busy making breakfast, or trying to, but you were both too giddy and happy to really get anything done.

“Hey Y/N, what’s that?” Sunmi said teasingly, brushing your hair back to reveal dark purple marks that Sunmi had enjoyed leaving behind on you last night. You hit her hand away, blushing as she laughed at you.

“Need I remind you that you were one screaming my name last night?” You rebutted as Sunmi was the one telling you to shush now, both of you just getting all giggly again before trying to concentrate on making breakfast.

You ended up with some scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon that just weren’t half bad. You ate it all up and made sure Sunmi did too, filling yourselves up while there were no managers here to tell you to stick to your diets.

After eating you headed straight to the couch, Sunmi following right behind as you held her hand loosely. You picked back up a drama you had been watching the last time you were together, your body nestled into Sunmi’s side. With your fingers interlaced, Sunmi’s other free hand rested on your thigh, goosebumps forming as she started absentmindedly drawing shapes on your skin.

You wished to stay like that forever, leaning over every few minutes to steal kisses from your girlfriend. Neither of you moved for the rest of the day, and you didn’t plan to either.

Food, TV and your beautiful girlfriend in your arms? This was your definition of happiness.
