Hi, I’m Lavender, and I’m a trans girl who’s about to be moving out with nowhere lined up to live next. Unfortunately I can’t stay here, and my lease is up on August 30th (2022), so I could really use somewhere trans friendly to go within the next 30 days!

You read the text with a smirk as soon as it got delivered to your phone. You looked back at him as you walked away, heading to the dorm, with the other trainees. He gave you a shy smile and tried his best to avoid your gaze on him while, still holding his phone, he waved at you goodbye. You knew perfectly what it was that he had left you - a song, written by him, especially to you.
When you got to the dorm, you let your roommates shower first. As the last of them left the bathroom you got your guitar and locked yourself in there with the lyrics Jisung wrote for you.
You figured out a melody for the song and started recording. The first time he wrote you lyrics, he didn’t plan on ever letting you read them, but you saw your name on the paper and decided to read what it said. Then you just had to convince him to let you take it home with you. You recorded yourself singing to his song and he loved it so much he started giving you new lyrics every now and then as a surprise.
You sent it to him as soon as you finished, but it was late and you knew he was asleep already. The other trainees gave up on complaining like four (4) times ago. You took a quick shower and went to sleep, excited for the next day.

“So, what did you think, Jisungie?”, you caught up to him holding his arm but not taking long to let go. After all, you were still trainees and you couldn’t afford any dating rumours at this point.
“Amazing! As always.”
“I’m happy you liked it”, the satisfaction was visible on your face.“We totally have to collab once you debut! Well, if JYP allows it…”, you roll your eyes upon the image of the CEO.
“If we debut…”, he muttered, looking down sadly.
“Hey”, you stopped walking and faced Jisung. “Cheer up! You got to be kidding if you think you wouldn’t make it. You can do everything. You dance well, you’re a great singer and your rap is simply amazing! If one of us doesn’t debut it’s gonna be me.
“Thank you”, he chuckled. “But you’re totally gonna debut. You’re super talented.”
“Thank you!”, you felt your face heat up for a moment.
“Y/N!”, one of your roommates called for you from the end of the hallway. “Let’s go, we haven’t stretched yet.”
“Well, I guess I should get going then, don’t wanna be late”, rushing down the hallway you waved at him goodbye.
Already in the practice room, you started stretching. Among all of you a conversation about how good Jisung’s last song was sparked, along with a couple complaints about the time you chose to sing it, but nothing too bad. This quickly evolved into a conversation about wether or not you would all be able to debut. You tried to cheer them up but the fear lived inside you as well, no matter how much you try to ignore it.
As soon as practice ended you ran to check your phone and there it was, a text from your best friend.
Jisung:
“Seungmin, Felix, Hyunjin and I are having lunch in the practice room at around 1pm. Wanna join us?”
You:
“Yup. Can Minji come with me?”
Jisung:
“Sure”
As you still had one (1) hour to spare, you and Minji, one of the trainees in your dorm, decided to do a quick workout before heading to a convinience store to buy lunch.
At lunch, you and Jisung would not shut up and he and Hyunjin would occasionaly bicker at each other but other than that it went smoothly. Since the two of you kept chatting, everyone else had already finished their lunch and left you behind to finish eating and clean up the room.
Mid-cleaning he stopped. He stood on his feet facing you.
“Y/N…”, he whispered, almost afraid of what he was about to say.
“Yes?” You dropped some packages in the bag you brought for the trash and walked up to him.
He held your shoulders and stared into your eyes, very serious.
“What is it?”, you started worrying, thinking of everything that could’ve happened. Had he been kicked out? Did JYP forbid you two of talking?
“I…”, he took a deep breath. “I like you. A lot.”
“Jisung…”, you whined as if asking him to shut his mouth before he said something he couldn’t take back.
“Not as a friend.”
You sighed and looked up at him, letting your gazes meet.
“You do too, right?”
“I- Yes.” You thought of denying but it was useless.
“Close your eyes.” you did as you were told, unable to fight it.
Soon you felt his lips on top of yours. He cupped your face gently. You’d both be lying if you said you weren’t waiting for this moment ever since you met.
Your lips moved together for a couple of seconds until he pulled away. Still holding your face. Still looking at lips. Touching his forehead to yours.
“I didn’t want this to happen.”
“Why?” A dash of worry was audible in his voice.
“I don’t want us to stop talking but we can’t date, you know that.”
“We can date as long as no one finds out…”
“Isn’t that too risky?”
“We should try.” He pulled away, once again, looking you in the eyes.
“Guess we’re gonna start practicing to be actors as well then.”
He pulled you into a hug, only letting go when you patted him on the back.
You had spent the whole day working and you knew Chan would be busy at the studio by the time you went home. So instead you guys agreed that you would pick up dinner and meet him there. You were in the convenience store texting your boyfriend when your phone ran out of battery so you had a feeling Chan would probably get worried and rushed your way to him. When you got there he was waiting for you at the door, phone in hand.
-Babe! *gif* I have been waiting for you.
-I know, baby. I’m sorry, I ran out of battery.
-I figured. - he said softly, staring at your lips before kissing you finally.
