"Y'all really go all out for the holidays around here, huh?" After surviving Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's Eve (the trifecta for forced family fun) in Merrock, Aidan supposed that he shouldn't've been all that surprised to notice an uptick in shopfronts with displays that looked like Cupid himself had crash landed inside. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, either, it was just… a lot. A culture shock of sorts. "Halloween must be fuckin' nuts," he said with a bit of a chuckle, glancing Sunny's way before his gaze was back on the red and pink tinsel garland he was trying to untangle. A trade of beer for manual labor had him at Bonne Merde afterhours, helping Sunny put up decorations for the upcoming week of love. Personally, Aidan didn't have too many positive thoughts about Valentine's day, but he was willing to bet that a place like Bonne Merde would be a hotspot for dates and girls' nights, whereas that sports bar around the corner and Anchors would welcome all of the brokenhearted. "Alright," he started, shaking out the end of the garland and stepping up on the chair he had pulled close to one end of the bar. "This look even from down there?" he asked, holding it up and waiting for her approval.
