The curse is broken and their entire world shatters. When Regina is put on trial for crimes against the people, she's dealt a punishment no one could have ever imagined. Now saddled with the burden of responsibility, the Saviour seems intent on making it her personal mission to ensure Regina's safety. And it wouldn't be such a big deal, only there are feelings that choke Regina whenever Emma shows that she cares (which is often, and never ending, and a problem).

But Regina learns that wants and needs are often one in the same, that redemption can come in form of healing, and gifts from a curse can only be unwrapped by the people who broke it.

With her best friend Regina out on a date, Emma gets to babysit her son, Henry. But Henry is a demanding six-year-old who asks for the most obscure stories. When he wants one about a bird and a wolf and two women in love, who is Emma to deny him? And if this story leads to a happy ending in real life, then Emma might consider that a win. [Inspired by LadyHawke (1985)]

Set post season 7: It's an ordinary Thursday where Regina babysits Hope, and Emma comes to fetch her after her shift at the station. But this Thursday has a bottle of wine and Miss Swan, you can't drive after drinking alcohol, and maybe they both love each other but they're too chicken to say it.
