Stupidest Real Name: Round One Match Eight of Thirty-Two
Byrd Rentals (Rubberduck)
Leyu Yoshida (Sunpyre)
thought i posted this one ages ago. but it was just in my drafts
I’ve been summoned >:)
Regarding SunStar- can either of them cook (and if so what do they usually make?) and do you think they are banned from any places (and if so where and how many?)
Also do you think Leyu and Jeanne-Marie/ Aurora get along and what do they think of their terrible brothers respective new boyfriends?
I think Jean-Paul knows how to cook. He's not a talented chef, but he can cook edible and good tasting meals.
Shiro cannot cook. It was not one of the things his uncle taught him. He complains a lot about Jean-Paul's cooking (because he's Shiro and complaining about things is what he does). Jean-Paul eventually gets fed up and challenges Shiro to make dinner one night.
Long story short Shiro's barely started and the kitchen is on fire. The stovetop is completely melted and every time Shiro complains about Jean-Paul's cooking, Jean-Paul will remind him of the incident.
As for what Jean-Paul cooks that Shiro seems to hate so much it's basic stuff like pasta, hamburgers, grilled cheese with the occasional Quebecoise dish thrown in like Chiard and Fèves au lard.
They are banned from so many places. Three high end restaurants, four New York gay bars, and seven different Costco locations.
This is typically the result of two of them getting in a fight in the middle of the outing, getting in a fight with another costumer, getting in a fight with an employee, or a supervillain deciding this is a convenient time and place to attack them.
We don't know a lot about Leyu but from what I've seen of her I think she and Jeanne-Marie/Aurora would get along swimmingly. I think they would both despise their brother's relationship. Jeanne-Marie/Aurora is not even against it for homophobic reasons just because even she can see that this is super unhealthy. Leyu because she can see what a bad toll this relationship has on Shiro. However I think she would consider having met Jeanne-Marie/Aurora one of the relationships few positive outcomes.
Leyu returning from the store pulls something out of a bag and tossed it to Shiro.
"Here."
Shiro catches the small leather box and flicks it open to see a ring inside. "What is this for?"
"For you to propose to your boyfriend with."
"Northstar and I aren't getting married."
"Listen if I have to deal with your toxic as fuck relationship, I'm getting an awesome sister-in-law out of it."
Jeanne-Marie/Aurora insists if Jean-Paul and Shiro ever do break up for good she keeps Leyu in the "divorce".
Hey guys its #APAHM month and i wanted to celebrate my some of my favorite asian heroes for this month. I thought it would be great to fuse X-may as well.

The short-lived X-Men team led by Jean Grey from Scott Lobdell’s “Eve of Destruction”.
Notable for being the first time Northstar and Frenzy were members of the X-Men. It also introduced 3 new characters; Wraith, Omerta and Sunpyre or as they’re more formally known “de-powered off-panel during M-Day”, “killed off-panel in a concentration camp” and “appeared one more time and had her throat slit by Mystique”.
For what it’s worth, Cyclops, Wolverine, Polaris, Dazzler and Xavier are also all prominently in the story but they’re obviously not part of the “All-New All-Different” line-up that Jean leads.
I honestly quite like the story and even the new characters I think could’ve easily slipped in elsewhere. Wraith would feel at home in the background of Grant Morrison’s New X-Men run, there have been two subsequent female Sunfires which says enough that Sunpyre probably shouldn’t have been killed off so quick and Omerta is a jerk (and a homophobe and a sleazebag) and characters like that can be valuable to have other characters play off.
I don't think Leyu and Shiro knew much of each other growing up.
When she's introduced it's stated that Leyu's still a teenager and I think that puts her in the 17-19 age range and Shiro being written to be around the same age as the other X-Men, late twenties early thirties.
Leyu mentions her uncle, Tomo, a few times in X-Force. Which makes me think she met him at a family gathering when she was a child. Perhaps Shiro was with him.
Granted I think it would also be in character for Tomo to just leave Shiro at home. Claim that he specifically wasn't invited to the family gathering. It's the perfect way to build a stronger sense of loyalty on Shiro's part of he thinks the rest of his family just doesn't want him around.
I don't think either sibling was kept in the dark over the other's existence. They were aware of the other and probably met once or twice, but weren't huge parts of each other's lives growing up.
