Cast off my first sleeve on my Sunset Highway sweater, only to realize it was about two inches to short. Turns out that I don’t know how to read and I missed a section of the pattern that I was supposed to repeat. Yay! I had to rip it out about half way. It was a bummer, but I would rather have a longer sleeve then a short one. I know taking the time to fix something and make it the way I intended it to be will lead me to wear this more often.

Craft show season is officially over which means... the end of the knitting hiatus! I’m so excited to get back to my 3 dozen half-finished projects.

I did it. I finally decided which colors I liked and I started my Sunset Highway for real. Feeling pretty good about it, I have separated for the sleeves and am working my way down the body of the sweater. My color choices don’t contrast as much as I would like them too, but I am dealing with it. After all, I bought this yarn, I need to use it. It might not be a flawless Sunset Highway, but it is going to have a lot of charm.
