I felt a much stronger bond of friendship from Team Konohamaru in the Boruto Movie than I did with Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura in nearly the entire series tbh.
[[ Boruto and Sarada have their disagreements in Gaiden prior but Sarada's are resolved in Gaiden.
They don't initially work well together because Boruto is arrogant and wants to do it all on his own, but the course of the movie teaches him otherwise. They are functioning as a team at the end of the movie. There is no rivalry between them specifically. Boruto does not want to be Hokage but rather supports Sarada in her dream of being Hokage. Mitsuki has no beef with either of them.
And I have hope this will remain a constant in Boruto, if only because the story is about Boruto specifically and Kawaki has already been labeled as the rival/antagonist, and not Sarada.]]
