Rain and Shine: Drewmans Lorraine and Elio

Whenever I make a character who’s this shade of highlighter yellow, I always put extra effort into making them cute and/or hot to incentivize people into actually wanting to look at them.

Alright, here comes infodump about Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Masks", D'Arsay and Greek/Roman mythologies and my OC Diana Soong.

In this episode, Data was taking personalities of people from D'Arsay, including Masaka, Godness of Sun. In their mythology Masaka only paid attention to Korgano, God of the moon, she didn't care about other people.

And in Greek mythology, Artemis, whose name in Roman mythology is Diana, is the Godness of the Moon and hunting.

And as most people are aware, moon rather than shine its own light, it reflected sun's light. And moon sometimes blocks the sun creating the eclipse, which is another example of how these two celestial bodies interact.

Sun is often associated with masculinity while the moon with femininity. In a lot of folk tales Sun and Moon are regarded as husband and wife and sometimes as brother and sister.

...which I guess describes relationship between Diana and Data, as they were created by the same person...(below reminder of the inspiration behind Diana's character)

Another observation: Data's eyes and uniform are both yellow (which is associated with sun and day), while Diana's uniform during TNG era was blue, associated with moon and the night.

So I guess the point I'm making is that these two are basically soulmates on many weird levels....
