1. the meaning behind my url

..I actually had a different url when I first started my tumblr, however, after posting for a few years I had decided to wanted to have a new url that was more "sims-y" I was watching Pride and Prejudice and there was a part where Elizabeth Bennett is talking to her Father about her marrying Mr. Darcy. She goes on to tell him that she's so in love with him, that she's just been stubborn and how she's been nonsensical. I've enjoyed words and the power they can have, the emotion they can compel.. The word - nonsensical means "not making sense" or "having no meaning." At a certain point in my life my Grandmother told me that she just never understood why I loved playing the sims or using the sims as a platform to write stories.. which to me made no sense because I have always wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl and would type out stories and read them to her and my Mom, but.. in that moment of watching this movie as I was waiting for my game to load - I was like... nonsimsical.. I LOVE IT! I was also leaning towards "simmingwhatelse" because it was a play off of "daniwhoelse" which was my first url before changing it to this!! Because my love for the sims makes no sense sometimes! LOL but I asked @sugary-plumb her opinion of the two and she also voted for nonsimsical <3 .the end!

17. a fact about my life

..well... idk if this counts, [this happened a while ago] but I have jokingly telling my children that @blessyourpixels lives in the land where fried chicken [Kentucky] comes from.. It's just a joke... I've told them I was joking, but funny thing -- like selective hearing, there is also selective memory - So, when I told the kids we were going to KFC for dinner, Scout asked what that was and without even thinking about it I said Kentucky Fried Chicken and just left it at that- to make a long story short - my daughter thought we were going to Candace's house for dinner! And was distraught that the lady behind the register not only was not Candace, but also did not know her..... to be fair, Scout was very little when the last time I made the joke about Candace living in the land that is fried chicken so I didn't expect her to have any recollection of it, lmao.
