“Try this with me please..” you say as you hold Sunwoo’s arm and shake it “No, why would I put whatever that is under my eyes?” Sunwoo said in disgust as he held the under eye mask with his two fingers as if it was some kids disgusting shit.
“It helps you moisturise your under eyes! You see all those dark circles you have right there, it’s for them. Come on, try it with me! I promise it’s not something bad.” You say with a pout on your face. You could see Sunwoo dramatically rolling his eyes before nodding his head slightly.
“And fyi I don’t have dark circles.” He said before snatching the packet of under eye masks. Ripping it open he took out two of them and stared at them with his eyes brows knitted together.
“Let me help you..wait before that wear this!” You say excitedly as you remove a bunny hair band from your bed side table.
“I am not going to wear that! Get away!” He screamed in horror as he tried to get up from the bed only to get pulled back down.
Straddling his lap you put the bunny hair band on him as you gently place the eye masks under his eyes, “you have to close your eyes..” you mumble with your eyes focused on putting the eye mask properly.
“Why?” He asked even tho he had already closed his eyes. Smiling like a small kid you get up from his lap and bring out your cocoa butter lip scrub. Rubbing it on his lips you got up from his lap once it was done. Going in the washroom you pay no mind to whatever Sunwoo was doing outside.
“Can I eat this??” Sunwoo asked with his eyes still closed “I mean..if you want to. Go ahead..” you said with a shrug.
“What even is this?” Sunwoo asked. Stopping your skin care routine you look at him through the bathroom, “lip scrub..” you say as you continue doing your thing.
You could hear Sunwoo gasp in horror “You cannot eat lip scrub! Why did you say I could eat lip scrub!” He screamed in terror as he got up from the bed and came running in the washroom to wash his mouth.
Pushing you away from the mirror and the counter he opened the faucet and started gargling with the running water. Shaking your head in disapproval of his behaviour you just continued putting the night cream on your face.
“Why did you say that I could eat that!” Sunwoo spoke up once he was done washing his mouth
“I never said you could eat that, pookie.” You reply as you start putting on the face mask sheet.
“Yes you did! I asked you if I can eat the thing you were applying on my lips! And you said yes!” He whined
“No, I said if you want to! I left the decision completely on you, pookie.” You say with a smile. Patting his broad shoulders you exit the washroom and sit down on the bed with a book in your hand.
“Okay, but the main question is, did it taste good?” You ask once Sunwoo came out of the bathroom and sat down beside you
“Seriously? That’s what you care about?” He asks with his eyebrows raised looking at you with a irritated expression adorned on his face.
“No, I mean I need to know if it actually tastes like the flavour I bought.” You say as you look at him with expectant eyes waiting for his reply
“I don’t know. It tastes like vanilla and a slight mixture of cocoa butter. It was sweet and it had this small bits kind of thing which I chew on,” Sunwoo said with his eyes closed as he described the taste he tasted “overall it tasted good. 10/10! Definitely should try it!” Sunwoo said with a slight grin as he got up from his seat and went in the washroom to grab the lip scrub box.
“Come on, try it..” he said as he stood in front of you with the scrub scooped up in his fingers. Looking at the scrub and then at him you shook your head as a no as you gently pushed his hand away.
“No, are you crazy!” You said with a laugh as you diverted your attention back to the book you were reading.
“You’re not gonna eat it then?” Sunwoo asked as a confirmation. Shaking your head and saying back a no you payed attention to your book.
“Well then you leave me no choice!” You heard Sunwoo say that as you felt a soft hand grab your face. Before you could even comprehend on what was happening you felt soft lips attached to yours.
You could feel Sunwoo moving his lips in sync with your as his moulded perfectly in yours. Closing your eyes you grabbed the back of his neck to pull him closer. Pushing him down on the bed you straddled his lap while you both continued kissing without a care in the world.
In no time you could feel Sunwoo’s tongue entering your mouth as he explored every corner of it. You could taste the cocoa butter and vanilla flavour of the scrub he had put on before kissing you.
Breaking the kiss you both stared at each other while breathing heavily. Attaching your forehead with his you smiled at him “It tastes good.” You tell him with a slight chuckle
“Really? Are you referring to me or my lips, pookie?” Sunwoo said with a smitten smile on his lips.
Picking up his hand he started stroking your hair gently before he attached his lips to your collarbone, giving it light kisses.
“Both..” you reply to his question as you look up to give him more space to kiss you.

thank you for reading @deobienthusiast, @sohnric !! 💕
...also i'm so soft for this scenario 😭
Maybe it’s the love instinct that woke him up.
Sunwoo isn’t one to wake up in the middle of his slumber, content with the rest he would be awarded after the long days of yawning and the tears that would spring to his eyes whenever he did so. Maybe he woke up because his bed was warmer than usual with your presence next to him, hiding your face into his chest while you let out soft snores from your slightly gaped lips, unaware of the affectionate gaze falling upon you.
Though the sleep is still in his eyes, he couldn’t help but coo at your sleeping figure. The corner of his lips pulled into a smile, content with how peaceful you looked after yesterday's long crying session. His fingers brush the hair strands that inconveniently block your side view, taking multiple attempts due to how gentle Sunwoo is being to keep you asleep.
“You’re so beautiful,” he confesses with a forehead kiss.
You respond with a few shuffles making his eyes slightly widen, his whole body automatically staying still. Light groaning and mumbles fall out of you and your eyes still haven’t opened, your brain pushing you closer to the chest that acted as a barrier with the sunset. Sunwoo chuckles when you exhale in satisfaction with his hand on the back of your head to bring you closer.
“You’re too cute.” He’s so in love with you, his heart combusting with every small thing you do. “I’m so thankful you’re mine.”
If you were fully conscious, you would have responded with words or at least gestures that would convey the same meaning as the ones he just said. But unfortunately, the stomach of your muscles constricts and the crease between your eyebrows truly alerted Sunwoo, the feeling of drowsiness completely gone.
“Sun…woo…” The pain pulls you of out his hold, your hands flying to your abdomen as if you’re trying to keep the body part together from falling out.
“What? What’s wrong?” His body immediately sits up, one hand on your sweating forehead, the other clenching one of your hands on your lower body. “Hey, it’s okay. I’m here.”
His eyes answered his growing anxiety, the colour seeping through his bedsheets. At first, his eyebrows knitted in confusion as he recalls seeing the tracker on his phone; you’re a few days early, it’s happened before but never this early. His body springs into action first, jumping on his feet to carry your whimpering body to the bathroom.
“Bubs.” He tries to distract you from the pain. The cover of the toilet seat clangs against its tank, Sunwoo slamming it open to get you to sit properly. “Tell me what I can do to help. Do you need anything?”
You try your best to answer but only incoherent words strung out of your shaking lips, eyes twinkling with tears due to the kicks and pushes on your whole lower body that is slowly spreading and growing worse by the second. With no proper response given, Sunwoo could only frown at your situation. His knees try to be comfortable against the cold tiles, eyes observing your every motion.
He would take your pain away if he could.
The way your body curls in front of him, arms tightly wrapped around your middle and the way the sweat trickles down your nape, making your body temperature spike uncomfortably. A curse is heard from your boyfriend when your sobs grow louder.
“It’s never hurt this much before.” And he’s never seen you in this much pain before. “I hate this…”
“I know, I know.” Sunwoo validates your feelings. He offers his comfort with the circling motions on your knees. “Should I get you a heat pack? The chicken and corn soup from down the streets? Warm water?”
“I-I don’t know…” You shook your head. “I’m sorry I stained your sheets and clothes…”
“Hey…” Sunwoo shakes his head firmly, “That stuff doesn’t matter to me, okay? Don’t even think of those insignificant things right now.” Sunwoo kisses the tip of your sweaty nose, reassuring you further.
Just like on cue, a lightbulb flashes on top of his head, recalling an episode that his sister told him about when she was having her own time. The realisation didn’t go past you and you just watched lifelessly when he ran out of the room to grab your spare underwear and the new pack of pads from the bottom cabinet.
“S-Sunwoo?”
You know that Sunwoo has always been a caring boyfriend. Observant and always keeping an eye on you in case you need any sort of hand. When you were both just friends, he had always held your hand whilst crossing the street or given you a pack of tissues whenever you started your meal—mind you you were already in high school at this point.
It's always sent your heart fluttering, your face flushed and your arms around his whenever he's by your side.
Just when you thought that Sunwoo couldn't get any more observant, the way he peels the pad from its plastic cover, scrunching the piece of paper that covered the adhesive and patting the cotton on the right side of the fabric, he shows again that he still has love to give you.
That he still loves you ever since he laid his eyes on you and shows that the words are true.
Sunwoo turns around, his hands on the waistband of the clothing, proud of his best work. For a second his gesture made your eyelids collect the tears that have been threatening to fall, and Sunwoo strides to you once more.
“I can see your thoughts, bubs.” Kneeling once more, his hands came up to stroke your cheeks, “It's not disgusting okay? It's part of your life to have periods.”
Sunwoo offers to at least have you change into some fresh clothes, his plan including helping you change out of your dirty underwear that is making you squirm and sensitive. The shake of your head renders Sunwoo hopeless, slowly seeing the arising panic start to show in your eyes.
“No…” It's when you realise once again just how much the time of your month renders you useless. The pressing of your arms on your stomach becomes stronger in hopes of relieving some pain. “I can't let you see that…that'll be too much…”
“I won't even look at your garment! I'll keep my eyes on you the whole time and I'll just throw it in the bathtub okay?” A thumb is thrown to the side to indicate the direction. “I can't let you be in pain and be uncomfortable like this, bubs.” A soothing press on the lips gets your mind back in place, and feel more connected to the present.
Your tired eyes open, greeting a pair of fond ones, Sunwoo scrunching his nose up cutely and bopping the tip of his nose with yours mischievously. The sound of your laughter relieves him, eventually urging him to press another peck to your lips.
“Promise you won’t leave me after this?”
“Stupid girl, I won’t leave you!” He shakes his head with the brightest smile on his face. “There’s no way I would do that to you.”
Sunwoo coils his hand tightly with yours, his thumb running over your skin before he lets out an exhale followed by an ‘okay’. You nod to him, understanding the meaning behind his words. He puts his hands gently on your hips, another series of circular motions over the fabric of his stained shirt. Gentle and slow—it makes your emotions bounce all over the small bathroom, crying and thankful for the forehead kiss he gives once more.
“I won’t look okay?” You smile, genuinely trusting his words.
You scrunch your (boyfriend’s) shirt to your waistline from the side to let Sunwoo hook the item of clothing underneath. The shirt still covered your private parts, it being oversized enough to keep that part of yourself hidden. Sunwoo keeps his eye contact with your half-lidded eyes, making silly faces to cheer you up—his eyes tell a different story though.
“Done!” He flicks the tinted clothing to the bathtub away from both of your eyes. “Alright?” Checking on you.
“More than alright.” A wave of relief washes over you as soon as the clean cotton piece snaps on your hips. You stretched the ache of your ached back, straightening up and relaxing your posture. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” He rises from his knees, cupping your face between the palms of his hands. “You’re so adorable.” Squishing your cheeks despite the complaints you gave him with the red hues on your skin.
But your mind runs back to the white sheets of his bed behind the door and your lower lips juts in guilt. Before you could even say anything else, Sunwoo places your chin between the pads of his thumb and pointer, tilting your head slightly to accommodate for the height difference.
“I’ll change it.” Whispering against your lips. “I’ll get you some warm water so you just rest your body for a bit more and I’ll change it.”
Apologies wouldn’t work on him. You know that’s not what he wants this to be. “Thank you. Cuddles after?”
Like a delighted child, excited with the mention of his favourite thing to do with you, Sunwoo skips out of the bathroom and you hear the plush of the pillows and duvet that plops on the floor amongst the other rowdy things.
“You can compensate with as many cuddles and kisses as I want when I’m done!”

you knew it was a bad idea to be at home with sunwoo AND all your friends, but they'd all insisted on spending one last evening together before the start of a new school year of hell — and who were you to say no to haknyeon's pleading eyes? that's how your living room turned into a summer camp, the floor strewn with inflatable mattresses and blankets, each with a more ridiculous design than the last. eating your popcorn and watching with a judgmental eye as eric did you-know-what in the corner of your living room, you suddenly felt arms around your waist, making you jump slightly.
not bothering to see who it was, you felt a chin take its place on your shoulder, and a head stick to yours. to no one's surprise, the scent of sunwoo's perfume tickled your nostrils, while your eyes darted between all your friends who seemed absorbed in the film playing on your television. « why are you so clingy? » you whispered, thinking how lucky you were that no one suspected that you were now a couple and no longer just friends, even if your sudden closeness should have tipped them off. sunwoo shook his head negatively, daring to place a kiss on the hollow of your neck when everyone else was looking away, « i miss you, » he muttered against your skin, moving dangerously up your jaw to reach your ear, « i want to kiss you. »
a shiver ran down your spine, as you spied around you to make sure no one had seen or heard what he had just said and done. turning your head towards his, your gaze met the piercing brown color of sunwoo's pupils, the smirk on his pretty lips giving you the strange urge to unscrew his head. but your heart, which was now racing in your chest, had other desires — especially when you had the misfortune to squint at his mouth, which seemed to be screaming at you to kiss him. « we can't, we're not alone. » you replied, your hand mechanically caressing his forearm, paying no attention to anything going on around you. but sunwoo knew how to be persuasive : so he moved a little closer to you so that the tip of his nose caressed yours, before standing up as if nothing had happened, beckoning you to follow him.
what you did. unashamedly.
moving along the almost pitch-black corridor leading to your room and out of sight of others, your body was suddenly drawn against something warm and soft. sunwoo's body pressed against yours, his arms firmly encircling you as if to prevent you from escaping. « hey love, » he whispered against your lips, and you could hear in his words the smile that clung to his mouth, « did you miss me? »
wrapping your arms around his neck, you rose on tiptoe to place a light kiss on his lips before speaking, in a barely audible whisper, « you're here to kiss me, save the nice words for later. » — a scoff leaves his tongue just before he closed the distance between you both completely, capturing your lips in a hot, desperate kiss. sunwoo's hands wandered under your pyjama top, his delicate fingers caressing your warm skin, without a second thought that anyone could have surprised you. he lifted you slightly off the ground, taking you by surprise while taking advantage and slide his tongue against yours, sighing against your lips at the simple sensation of finally being able to kiss you the way he wanted to. sunwoo was an incredible kisser — the best you've ever known, and the only one capable of driving your heart crazy and your stomach full of butterflies.
after long minutes of kissing, reversing roles and finding yourself with your back pressed against the wall behind you, a noise is heard in the hallway entrance, before an expletive forces you to separate your mouths from each other. despite your jerky breathing, your lips fuller and pinker than usual, and your hands nestled in each other's clothes, you turned on the light next to you to discover with horror eric's mocking face. « i knew it ! we knew it ! » he shouted, running back to the living room with a crash, « jacob you owe me $50 ! »
sighing, you looked up at sunwoo, who was smiling with a half-sorry, half-happy smile. hitting his arm, your boyfriend pretended to be in pain and grimaced, « all because of you and your impatience ! » you say, before he cuts you off and kisses you again, pinning you in place. then he pulled away slowly, smiling like an idiot in love, and you'll swear you really want to unscrew his head, « now at least, i can kiss you whenever i want. »
and that's what he did. in front of your friends. unashamedly.

sunwoo doesn't think too much of it when he sees the firetruck pulled up at his apartment complex. his neighbor's cat, missy, tends to get stuck in the trees a lot, so seeing a lone firefighter every other month or so is a normal occurrence for him.
he does get a little worried though when he sees the smoke floating out of the window. especially since he lives on the fourth floor and that window has suspiciously familiar curtains framing it.
the elevator's preoccupied by the firefighters, so he has to jog up the stairs. by the time he's reached his floor, with a sinking feeling that the universe has it out for him today, he's out of breath and heaving.
he stops breathing though once he sees you, sitting on the bench next to the elevators.
his steps become urgent, and before he knows it, he's kneeling down in front of you. your head is in your hands, so you don't really notice his presence until he places a hand on your shoulder.
"what happened?"
the hands framing your face fall to the side, and you gaze at him with a guilty expression.
"i was trying to make something nice for you. a strawberry cake, since it's your birthday, but it kind of backfired."
you stare at his opened door, watching the firefighters jostling around, but his eyes never leave your frame, scanning incessantly to make sure you're okay.
"you didn't get hurt, right?" he asks, even though he already knows the answer. you suppose it'll help him feel reassured if you say it out loud though, so that's exactly what you do.
"i'm fine. i called the emergency department as soon as i noticed the fire. your kitchen might be worse in shape though..." you trail off, already failing to meet his gaze.
you two sit there in silence for a couple of minutes. you think he's going to hate you, break up with you, chew you out and then kick you out of his life, but instead, he does the opposite.
he brings you in for a hug.
"i'm sorry," you say, voice shaky against the lapels of his coat, "i'm really, really sorry. for fucking up your birthday and your apartment. if you never want to see me again—"
"stop it," he interrupts, clutching onto you a little tighter, "don't even think about saying that. i love you, and yes it'll be an inconvenience having to find another apartment, but you and your safety is a thousand times more important to me."
he listens as your erratic breathing slows, until you're calm and your sniffling stops.
"happy birthday. and i love you too," you murmur. "i love you more than that stupid strawberry cake i was trying to make."
he laughs as he pulls away, resting his palms on your shoulders.
"we can get that cake from the store, baby. and we can light the candles in your apartment instead and passionately make out afterwards. it'll be like nothing went wrong."
"knew i started dating the right guy. we can gaslight ourselves into thinking this never happened, if you ignore the big dent in your bank account from insurance."
he deadpans, standing up.
"just do me a favor, okay? let me be the housewife in the relationship. stay far away from the kitchen, please."

“Stop looking at me like that.” sunwoo pouted, his eyes soft and glistening as he sits on the curb. His eyes wince as you apply alcohol to the fresh cut on the apple of his cheek, making you glare at him.
“Do you realize what time it is?” you ask, your tone exhausted yet laced with irritation.
Your eyes stay focused on the cuts on his face, carefully cleaning them and putting bandaids on them. Sunwoo takes notice of the hello kitty bandaids, his eyes widening dramatically. “Hello kitty bandaids?”
You glance at him as you place the third bandaid on his face, disbelief evident on your face. “It’s two in the morning and you expect me to have something other than hello kitty bandaids? It’s like you don’t know me at all.” His eyes travel to your pajamas that, coincidentally, were also hello kitty themed. He grinned at your comment, just allowing you to place the kiddish bandaids on his cuts. “What were you doing skateboarding at this hour anyway?”
“I got bored.”
“You have a nine a.m. class today.”
He shrugged, grinning with a chuckle. “What if i purposely hurt myself so i had an excuse to come see you?”
Something as stupid as that shouldn’t have made you blush, but it did and you couldn’t help it. You felt your cheeks rise in heat as you held back a smile, pulling further away from his face so you can view him fully. There he sat next to you in nothing but black sweatpants and a grey hoodie, his sweatpants having a new small hole directly on his knee from the fall he endured while practicing a new skateboard trick at the outside stairs of his college dorm. You had been up late studying and had just begun packing your bag for your classes tomorrow when you received a call from your boyfriend. Assuming it was something life or death since he almost never called at this hour, you answered frantically. Only to hear him ask you to help him clean up his fresh wounds from a failed attempt at a new move he had been trying to perfect. Before you had time to object, he was tossing a rock at your window and as you looked outside through your curtains, you saw him waving with his skateboard in one hand and his phone in the other.
“Id say you’re an idiot.”
Sunwoo leaned forward, his tone almost a whisper and a smirk playing on his lips. “But i’m your idiot.” he laughed at the face you made, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you onto his lap. You didn't even try to fight him off as he kissed all over your face, making you let out a small fit of laughter. When he stopped, he just kissed your forehead and looked down at you now in his arms with a smile. “Thank you for helping me, baby.”
You just leaned up and pecked his lips, poking one of his hello kitty bandaids gently. “You’re lucky i love you.”
💌 GROUP: The Boyz
💌 GENRE: anxiety comfort
💌 WORDS: 1.5k
💌 SUMMARY: When Sunwoo finds you crying because of anxiety, he knows just the right way to make you feel more secure.
A/N: my own work reposted
When Sunwoo stepped into your room and saw your face, it was definitely not what he expected. He expected you to turn around in pleasant surprise, your expression lighting up in delight to see your boyfriend. Instead, what he saw was your reddened eyes widening in fright as tears stained your cheeks. For a second, he was frozen in place like he wasn’t sure if it was okay for him to see you crying or if he was intruding on something he shouldn’t have. He almost took a step back and closed the door on instinct, but fortunately his brain was fast enough to catch himself before he’d done that.
“Uh, are you okay?” The question was as awkward as his voice when he asked it, and when you just sniffed in response, Sunwoo realized that this was probably not the way to go about it.
So instead, he took a deep breath to collect himself and focus on you, then walked up to your desk. You were sitting in your office chair, and before you heard the door open, you had been lying your head on your arms, resting on the desk in front of your lit up computer screen. There was an empty document open, the cursor on the clean white page blinking down at you in a steady rhythm.
Sunwoo quickly scanned your surroundings for hints, then crouched down before you and put his hands on your knees in what he hoped was a reassuring manner.
“Why are you crying?” His voice this time was very soft, and he looked up at you with patient, warm eyes, encouraging you to trust him with whatever it is, that’s tearing you down so bad. Somehow, this look directed at you only made your tears flow harder, and your sobs made it difficult to say anything. You could only stutter out a few broken “I”s before crying again.
Sunwoo muttered a “shit” under his breath and kneeled up so he could pull you into his arms. He patted your back in a way that was comforting in its awkwardness. Opposed to his initial reaction and what he might be thinking about himself, he was actually quite good at taking care of other people. His hug was warm and his touch was gentle but firm, both comforting and grounding.
“Don’t cry, don’t cry” he repeated a few times, holding you close until you calmed down in the warmth of his arms. Eventually, your sobs ceased, and he let you stay like this for a bit longer to catch your breath and calm down completely. Then you slowly pulled away a little to start wiping your tears with your sleeves.
“Stop that,” Sunwoo scolded you, pulling your hands away from your face. He quickly found some tissues on your desk and took over the job, gently wiping your face and making you blow your nose. When everything was done, he brushed your hair out of your face and pressed a lingering kiss on your forehead. “Are you okay?” he asked after.
You still didn’t seem like you were feeling better, your expression looked empty and ready to burst into another round of crying at any moment. So Sunwoo took it upon himself to get you comfortable enough. “Did something happen? If someone was an asshole to you, I can teach them a lesson.”
You scrunched up your nose in a grimace that probably meant that you were trying to glare at him for speaking nonsense and holding back a smile.
“I can’t write,” you said eventually, your voice barely above a whisper in the silence of your room.
For a second, Sunwoo wasn’t sure if he heard you right. Could such a simple reason cause you to cry as hard as you did? His shoulder still felt wet from the way your tears seeped through his t-shirt. He found it hard to believe that it was all because you had writer’s block or something.
“...Is that it?” he asked for confirmation, eyes wide with confusion while rubbing his thumb on the back of your hand.
You seemed to hesitate for quite a long time before trying again, “...I’m scared of writing.”
“Why are you scared of writing?” This was even more confusing because you weren’t the type to doubt your skills often and even when you did, it always made you more motivated to learn and improve. Did someone say something bad about your writing? Did he really need to square up and fight someone for you?
There was another period of silence, however instead of answering his question directly, it seemed like you changed your previous statement again, “I’m scared of everything… I’m just… scared…”
You choked on the last word and you could already feel a new set of tears gathering in the corner of your eyes. Your fingers curled into tight fists under Sunwoo’s palms and he was afraid that you would start crying again, so he quickly leaned closer to give you another forehead kiss. He was relieved when you closed your eyes for a moment to only focus on the touch of his lips on your skin, then you finally blinked the tears away.
Now it all made sense. Sunwoo knows what it’s like when fear makes someone unable to do anything. Maybe he hadn’t experienced what you were going through at this moment, maybe the fears he’d experienced weren’t to this level or this kind, still, he did have one or two tricks up his sleeve to offer you some help.
“You’re scared of everything?” he asked, trying his best to hold back a grin but the corner of his lips curled up anyways. When you looked at him with confusion, wondering if he didn’t hear you, he added, “Even me?”
You immediately shook your head no. Then seeing his grin widen proudly, you realized that your thoughtless response led you into his trap so you quietly added, “I saw you panicking when you found me crying.”
“I wasn’t– khm, you saw it wrong, your tears obscured your vision,” he huffed, partly embarrassed, partly relieved that you were starting to feel better – even if it was to his expense. Either way, he just needed you to trust him and let him in. He could take care of the rest.
“Listen here, crybaby,” he started again and poked your cheek with his index finger when he saw you pouting at the very affectionate nickname. “My point is, since you’re not scared of me, you can rely on me, right?”
You looked at him like not a word of this made any sense to you. Sunwoo thought that was fair, he wasn’t always reliable in every single thing, and he couldn’t help much with the particular things you were struggling with. However, he wanted you to know that at the very least, you could hide behind his back or in his arms whenever you needed to – you’re not alone. He would be your support, your safe space, your shoulder to cry on. He would help you calm down and recharge yourself so you would have the strength to face your fears and defeat them like a boss.
“I’m saying that even though you have to do most of the work yourself, you don’t have to face your fears alone,” Sunwoo said, leaning closer again – close enough that you saw nothing but his face, and he placed his palms gently on your ears. “Whenever you’re scared, I’ll be here to cover your eyes and cover your ears, and get into your mind to drive out all the fears, alright?”
When you nodded, he immediately kissed you.
Your eyes fluttered close, and you melted into the way his lips moved against yours. Your hands found their way to his shoulders, one slowly slipping up along the line of his neck to thread into his hair. He was right, you realized after pulling away for a moment: you didn’t see anything but his face, didn’t hear anything but his soft breaths, didn’t smell anything but his scent, didn’t feel anything but his touch, didn’t taste anything but his lips. Your thoughts about your fears dissolved like clouds after the rain when the sun broke through the sky and lit everything up with its bright light. Its warmth, similar to your boyfriend’s warmth, made you feel at peace and filled you up with life.
You kissed him again, your lips chasing his, wanting to feel more of this magical feeling that seemingly made all your fears disappear. It was only after you parted for air that you realized that it wasn’t like your fears disappeared, they only seemed less threatening now. And you also realized that it wasn’t that he made you feel stronger, he simply stayed beside you and showed you that you’re already strong enough. You realized that what he did for you was being your safe space where your fears couldn’t follow you and you could rediscover yourself.
“Hey love, I found a perfect place for our date today and it's filled with your favourite flowers, lilies!” Sunwoo shows you the place he looked up on his phone but he quickly pulls it back when he notices the scowl on your face.
“Sunwoo, really? 2 years.... we've been together for 2 years,” you look at his phone and back his face with the same scowl making Sunwoo fold nervously.
“I know,,, today's our anniversary—”
“My favourite flowers are tulips,” you said rolling your eyes before standing up from your chair and leaving the classroom.
I fucked up....
Sunwoo is livid as he texts the artist he contacted for a commission.

"But y/n.. What kind of dresses do you like?" he asked after a while of curiously gazing at all the dresses displayed in the room.
"Short and skin tight ones." She answered simply without looking up.
Sunwoo rolled his eyes with a laugh, "no, I'm talking about wedding dresses."
"Oh.." she glanced at him before crossing her legs with a face scrunched in thought, "hmm.. Maybe one with a low neckline. Ah, but it should probably be with lace detailing right? And the bottom.. I like long, poofy ones, but nothing too dramatic. Maybe something like a disney princess. There would be a little train too… oh and lace sleeves!"
She suddenly turned to him with a finger pointed upward, "it can't be white. Everyone does white dresses—it's boring to me. A black dress is cool, isn't it?" She faced forward before he could even answer, leaning forward with her arms on her thigh. "Or should I get a tan one… Ah but then there's wine purple!"
He silently watched her as she leaned back on the ottoman, exasperation coating her features as she silently entered a self debated in her mind. He couldn't help the small smile that naturally pulled at his lips the longer he stared at her with his usual love-filled eyes, finding her cute no matter what she does, even imagining in all the dresses she described.
"I.. like whatever you like." He told her with the sweetest voice he could muster—the one he had reserved only for her.
Her head whipped over to him in an instant, her expression clearly showing the daze she found herself in at his words.
Sunwoo's eyebrows began to furrow as her bottom lip started to jut out, thinking he somehow said something wrong to make her cry.
Her hands flew to hold his face as she pouted. "You're so sweet.." She quietly said before placing a kiss on his lips.
Pulling back, she gazed into his eyes with a grin, "but you know, when we get married your opinion would matter too, right?"
She was left without an answer as he sat silently. His face broke out into a smile that only grew as the seconds passed and soon he was giggling to himself.
Her eyes narrowed as she looked him up and down, "..what? You're acting like a weirdo, Sunwoo-"
"Nothing it's just," he calmed down, but the full-on smile remained tattooed on his face in that moment, "you said when. 'When' we get married.. Not if."
Her mouth fell open and her eyes widened as a blush started to paint her cheeks. She went to pull away in embarrassment, but his hands were faster than her, wrapping around her wrists to keep her own planted in place.
It was his turn to give her a peck to reassure her before his head settled further into her hold, "so when we get married, I want my members to sing at our wedding."
"Only if my members get to sing with them." She cheekily answered.
"Of course; I love Seul and Hime. It's only right if they sing, too."
The grin was back on her face as she leaned in once more, already starting to imagine what she knew would be one of the best days of her life, but halting right before they could kiss again.
"Wait.. Does that mean I'd have 10 brothers..??"
Sunwoo laughed at her realization, kissing the tip of her nose, "10 brothers that absolutely love you, yes."
Before she could even respond, their attention was taken by a voice that joined into their conversation.
"Hey, lovebirds!" Her friend yelled to remind them that they were not, in fact, alone in the room, "We're here to find my wedding dress, not plan your future wedding." She stood in front of them, hands planted on her hips as she scolded them, though the smile on her face completely betrayed her.
"Oh, um," y/n glanced at Sunwoo, clearing her throat as she scooched away from him, "sorry.."
Her friend scuffed with a roll of her eyes, "you're not forgiven… unless I'm invited to the wedding, of course!"
Y/n looked at Sunwoo, her eyes asking him for his approval. He simply placed his hand on her knee as he sat closer to her.
"You're a friend of y/n's so I have no objections. Besides, you were kind enough to let me tag along even though this is our first time meeting-"
