Taking another stab at branding for Legend of Animal Hat. I'm gonna try and animate this super attack at some point 😁

Special Attack Techniques
Some hunters learn how to weaponize their Auras beyond performing simple feats of super-strength or channeling their Aura through their weapons. Without using a Semblance, they project their Auras outward as a violent force.
Lie Ren injected his Aura directly into a Grimm with a bare-handed strike, creating a shockwave that caused the head of the King Taijitu to explode. Fox Alistair performed a more advanced version, whereby the shockwave hurled an Ursa Major away from him before it exploded, its own bones shredding the other Grimm around it.
Blake Belladonna and Qrow Brawnen hurl their Aura from their swords as forceful, slashing winds. These ranged attacks inflict impressive damage at range, and probably hit even harder up-close. Jaune Arc appears to be learning this technique. This may simply a projectile form of the technique used by Ren and Fox, but rarely used against opponents of the same caliber because of how easily another hunter could dodge it.
More uniquely, Yang Xiao Long can generate fiery, concussive explosions, apparently without using Dust.
Lie Ren and Ruby Rose have also impossibly treated their respective weapons as boomerangs at least once each, which may be related to the technique by which Ren very briefly manages to fly.

Ruby Rose – Hurricane
In a safe and relaxed environment like the food fight of Volume 2, once Ruby was the last member of her team standing against JNPR, she attempted a special “do or die” maneuver where she had no risk of actually dying if it failed. She presumably poured all (or at least most) of her Aura into one continuous rush of acceleration towards Team JNPR, creating the first known appearance of the “Rose Hurricane”. She disappeared into her cloak with an aileron roll, becoming a spiraling red blur that sucked all debris and opponents along in the wake of her storm, slamming them against the far wall even though she cut her own speed enough to come to a controlled stop right in front of it.
Ruby attempted a lesser, more cautious version of this maneuver to get behind Mercury Black. She didn’t have nearly as much room to build up speed, and she needed to conserve her Aura, as she would have needed protection against his attacks against her retreating back, as well as enough energy to outrun his own speed (which she witnessed in his battle against Team CFVY in the Doubles Round). This inferior attempt at the “Rose Hurricane” failed; moving straight at him made her a predictable target, and he kicked her right in the face, throwing her back the way she came.
Presumably, that incident was part of the reason she developed the shell-game trick displayed in Volume 4’s preceding character short (the “Second Red Trailer”).
