Moms took me out for my 31st
I'm so Lucky!
There is this woman who is always in my house. She takes care of me and my siblings. She cooks for us and helps me with my homework. I got curious and I asked her. Why is she doing all of these?
She replied with a smile. To describe the looks of the woman, she has straight, long, black-brown hair. She has dark brown eyes like the soil. A button nose and brown skin.
"She is a kind, caring, beautiful woman," said my sister. "She is strict and fair" my brother added. In my own words, she might be strict and mad sometimes but I know that she's only being like that because she wants to discipline us and be good people when we grow up.
Do you ever wonder how our moms transform themselves into other professions? I could still remember that one time that I got sick, she became my doctor. She took care of me and made me feel better. I also consider her the greatest chef ever! Sinigang, Adobo, Menudo, Carbonara, Sopas-- name it all, and she’ll cook it for you!
Well, most importantly, she is the best teacher and I couldn’t ask for more! She first teaches me how to say simple words and to write simple terms. She teaches me not just what is right or wrong but also to distinguish the difference between the two. She teaches me important values especially in showing respect and love to other people.
Then, I realized she is my mom. I cannot help but to feel a sudden emotion came rushing through my heart, I shed a tear and thought --- ‘wow, I am so lucky.’
I feel lucky I have a Mom like her. Out of all the children she could've taken care of. God chose me! All moms are superwomen. So while you’re reading this article. Take a break and give your mom a hug! Thank her for taking care of you and loving you.

Moms are super humans
Until I have recently become a mom of the most beautiful girl in the world (objectively), I had never really liked moms. I don’t mean my mom or a specific mom. I mean moms as a kind of special humans with super powers and knowledge their claim to possess and you don’t, because you have no children. You don’t know what it’s like. How important is to feed the little one only bio, free range, stop using perfumes and choose the best diapers there, possibly also free range and bio. Well-educated, beautiful women turned into creatures with oily hair in pajamas, no make-up, and no sense of humor. That is how I saw them.
In March 2016 I have turned into one super human myself and now I want to apologize for what I used to think. Moms are the best! Motherhood is the most difficult job in the world. You have no freedom, no pay (except for the cute smiles of your baby), no sick days, free days, no nothing. You are there for a little version of yourself 24/7.
It does not matter whether you are stay-at-home mom or working mom. (Even thou I admit I am the first one and cannot wait to become the second kind in the few weeks). It has been almost a year at home for me and I just want to hit the wall with my head. Your life is totally different, totally not about you anymore. So I thought I would dedicate this blog to my life with a baby, to the hardest and weirdest time of my life. I would also like to share some tips how to survive it and still be yourself.
