I remember having a conversation with a Snyderbro on Facebook which is as bad as it sounds and when I said I like James Gun being in charge the DCU they couldn’t believe it. They asked me if I wanted to see the League of Super-Pets as if they think that’s a bad thing and yeah I want it, I want James Gunn to bring in Super-Pets and other super powered animals into his DCU.

I want Streaky the Super Cat.

I want Ace the Bat Hound.

I want Damian Wayne to have all of his pets.

I want Dex-Starr the cat Red Lantern.

I want Ch’p the squirrel Green Lantern.

I want Jumpa, Wonder Woman’s pet kangaroo.

I want James Gunn to have both the serious and silly elements of the DC Universe because both make the universe so great. I don’t hate Zack Snyder’s movies, aside from Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice (that movie is bad), I like Man of Steel and his version of The Justice League even if I find the movies flawed in places and I see it as more of an Elseworlds Universe. I will even openly admit that 300 is one of my favorite movies because I get a bunch of hot nearly naked guys kicking ass. But between the two I truly believe James Gunn is a better director and storyteller. His Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy is one of the best parts of the MCU. His Suicide Squad is just so good especially compared to the other Suicide Squad movie. Creature Commandos is amazing as is his Superman movie. I finally started to watch Peacemaker and so far I really like. I can’t wait to see Supergirl.

Comet, the Super-horse's backstory is BANANAS.

It involves:

- 2 rival sorcerers

- unrequited centaur love

- Oops-All-Horse Potion

- consolation immortality

- a sympathetic space wizard

It also drops unexpectedly, in the middle of a scene. Like a character opening their purse to get their keys and taking a minute to show us an insane little diorama in there next to the mints.
