sooooo excited to post this excerpt from my upcoming fic for the @superbatlanewinterflashbang!!

my team's prompt was polyamory negotiation, so i decided to explore how a relationship between lois and bruce would grow after sharing clark as their partner: lois and bruce's first time having sex without clark.

a lot of awkwardness, sex, and lois showing off her vibrator collection <3

Morning announces itself with the sliver of sunlight peeking through their curtains and directly on Lois’ closed eyes. With a quiet groan, she buries her face into Clark’s neck, hiding from the disturbance. His back is warm and solid against her chest, and she seeks out more of him, slinging a leg over his thigh and pulling him close.

It’s a familiar movement, one she’s done in and out of her sleep a million times that Clark always melts into with a happy noise when he’s awake enough to. A good position for grinding too, which Lois does lazily, rolling her hips against his ass, chasing the pleasure as she wakes up slowly.

Clark makes a very un-Clark sound of surprise.

Lois opens one eye. Huh. “You’re not Clark.”

“No,” Bruce agrees, and his voice sounds rough with sleep, though she can’t see his face to confirm since she’s spooning him. “He got called away.”

It’s not as if Lois doesn’t remember going to bed with him—they’d had an eventful night—but Clark had been firmly in the middle when she’d fallen asleep with Bruce on his other side, a wordless arrangement the three of them hadn’t deviated from since these threesomes-turned-sleepovers started—until now.

Without Clark there, though, it seems that the two of them had closed the gap he’d left, both more in the middle of the bed than the sides they’d retired on. Spooning.

“Huh,” Lois says, out loud this time as her brain catches up. “Sorry for humping you.”

“I didn’t mind.” Shifting neither closer or further away, he makes another sound that she feels through her hand still placed on his chest, but she can’t tell if it’s a huff of embarrassment or a simple clearing of his throat.

But, after another few moments, he still doesn’t make to pull away. She wonders if it’s an invitation. In the still quiet, she breathes in his scent. Clark always smells a little bit like the sky, but Bruce is all earth—smelling of sweat and musk and expensive shampoo from where her nose hovers at the back of his neck. It could just be her typical morning horniness, but it only makes her want him more.

Fuck it.

“So, do you want to…?” She finishes her question with another roll of her hips. Just once. Pauses. She’s never had to seduce a man who was already in her bed before. His back is still turned to her, and without being able to read his face or his silence, she falters on her next course of action.

The faltering, at least, doesn’t seem to be hers alone. “I…” Bruce trails off, too, and then: “You don’t want to wait for Clark?”

Summary: When unforeseen circumstances force Bruce into staying with Clark and Lois, Clark can look forward to finally seeing Lois and Bruce properly introduced. There's just one small problem.

my fic for the @superbatlanewinterflashbang! my prompt was "giant/tiny + developing relationship", and i was paired with @lois-laney. our fics depicts the superbatlane relationship at different points in time and chronologically my fic comes first, set at an early point in their relationship, but our fics can both be read standalone or in any order. read her fic here!

“What is that?” Lois says curiously, pulling Clark out of his thoughts. Clark is inexplicably gripped by the urge to cup his hands around Bruce to hide him from her prying gaze. Something about Bruce being so small is really setting all of Clark’s protective instincts ablaze. Which is ridiculous, Lois would never even think about hurting Bruce. Well, probably. As long as he doesn’t get in her way, which he likely won’t at this size. “Bruce is, uh,” Clark stumbles over his words. He decides to just extend his hands instead in explanation, showing off his tiny charge. Lois blinks. It takes her a moment to even spot the tiny figure in his hands. Bruce doesn’t move a relative inch, arms hanging stiffly by his sides. Once comprehension dawns on her, her eyes widen in surprise.  “Oh my god.” She presses her fingers to her mouth, but Clark can still see the shape of her smile peeking through.  The small movement of Bruce crossing his arms across his chest draws Clark’s gaze down to him, but he can’t see Bruce’s expression from here. No doubt he’s wearing a fierce scowl.
