I have an incorrigible sweet tooth right from the time I have had milk tooth. I need to have something sweet always to end my lunch meal. Hence I have been trying to find a balance to incorporate more wholesome ingredients even into my desserts. One thing I have always wanted to do were these Besan Brownies made by @my_foodstory . Since my stash of Chhena Podo got over, I followed her recipe changing some elements & giving my own twist. For example this recipe uses condensed milk & maple syrup for some sweetness. There is no added sugar otherwise. I have also used only 75g butter instead of 125 g in the recipe. Here is the rough recipe. 1/2 cup @amul_india Dark Chocolate( 55%) 100 ml Amul Mithai Mate 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 tsp instant coffee powder 75g butter 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp instant coffee powder 1/3 cup chocolate chip & 3/4 Chickpea flour Microwave chocolate & butter for 30s. Then mix in the condensed milk. In a bowl whip 3 eggs for 3 minutes , add vanilla essence, melted chocolate & mix again . Now sieve in all the dry elements , mix well & add the chocolate chip brownies. Now comes the surprise element , moringa flowers. I mixed in 2 sprigs of the flowers for nutrition & a floral note. After pre heating at 180 degree Celsius for 10 min, I baked this at 200 degrees for 30 min. The resultant brownies were moist , fudgy & mildly sweet just how I wanted.
