Just a random tidbit - I love that you're a taurus! I'm a leo, and ever since high school my faves have always been tauri. They are the sign I consistently pull to me the most (and in my opinion the cream of the crop of people).

Lol! My best friends always seem to be Leos! Highschool and now in my half wanna be adult life, I think we both bring out some of the best qualities in eachother consistently. We make the best partners in crime lol.

My soul is nearsighted and ever-shifting, a murky sea-green depth. 

13. What taboo do you love to break?

Blasphemy is a favorite of mine, which is also related to how I love to curse - particularly of the lord’s-name-in-vain variety.  There’s something so satisfying about a sharp “goddamnit” or exasperated “jesus christ” 

14. Do you have sympathy for the devil?

Always.

5. What makes you sigh with pleasure that isn’t sexual?

Oversized bathtubs with jets, soaking my flesh, scrubbing myself pink and watching steam curl off my fingers. 

6. What defines a true monster?

A true monster, not in the sense of mythology - but in the literal sense, would be  a creature who terrorizes others, and who harms other life for needless reasons. A true monster cares only about its monster self. True monsters have many different forms, some of them beautiful, but their cruelty is consistent.

16. What do you find unconventionally beautiful?

Blood and bones, 

accidental bruises that bloom like flowers,

 the patina of decay,

 the alien and eldritch bodies of insects and arthropods in general,

 the sheen of latex and vinyl stretched taut over skin, 

fangs,

broken glass glittering against dull, chipped cement,

Thank you! It was time for a change, and I was quite drawn to a play on “chthonic” - it’s such a good word! For the curious: 

CHTHONIC - of or relating to the underworld, infernal. “in, under, or beneath the earth”, from χθών khthōn “earth”)[1] literally means “subterranean”. The translation of meaning discusses deities or spirits of the underworld, especially in Greek religion. The Greek word khthon is one of several for “earth”; it typically refers to the interior of the soil, rather than the living surface of the land … It evokes, simultaneously, abundance and the grave.
