A Beginning of Something Beautiful, an artwork for @missluthorwillseeyounow‘s fic for @supercorpbb titled come to my window (i'll keep it open for you)

Kara grins, because A.) this girl is clearly height-challenged, and B.) this girl likes a challenge, given the way she always seems to go for the most obscure books. And C.) based on the way she huffs adorably in frustration, Kara has a feeling that she's about thirty seconds away from climbing the stacks or falling and breaking her neck.

Kara takes pity on her and taps her on the shoulder, her grin still in place. "Let me."

I am really glad that I got to partake in this collaborative event! I had fun in meeting and working together with the admins, artists, and authors. I hope I could participate in another event like this one that brings contributors of the fandom together!

Kara & Lena - Spooky Couples’ Costumes prompt

Here’s my contribution to the @supercorpbb Halloween/Fall event! It’s totally inspired by @sango-blep’s brilliant morticia/gomez supercorp art which has been living rent free in my brain for awhile now..

Lena is having an objectively terrible day.

Everything seems to be going wrong, and nobody seems to be as proportionately pissed off about it as they should be.

Which only serves to piss her off even more.

She blames the jetlag. She blames the coffee. And right now, with the ominous peal of thunder and the sudden downpour that follows it, it seems she could not be faulted if she were to blame the weather too. 

Shit. Shit! 

She does what she can with what she has in her grip. Right now that’s a folder with some loose documents and her phone. She fumbles to call her driver with one hand and with the other, desperately tries to use the folder to shield herself from the worsening precipitation. She's really close to crying now, because of course this day would end the exact opposite way she’s imagined, when suddenly, the raindrops stop pelting her back.

"Oh, thank you so much," she rushes out, as she continues to struggle with her phone -how the hell does she not have service here?- and then she stops.

She takes another, closer look at the person holding the umbrella, and her brain fizzles out for a split second.

The golden locks, the blue eyes, the awkward stance. It can't be. 

"Terrible weather, yeah?"

I decided to do something a little different for the Supercorp Reverse Big Bang ( @supercorpbb ) and try my hand at photo manips. So here is my art submission, which inspired an awesome fic by @weeblenaluthor which you can read here

truce - for the Supercorp Big Bang 2020

Lena slides off of her stool, throwing self-preservation to the wind and flinging the door open without looking through the peephole first.

Kara’s wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a sweatshirt Lena vaguely remembers borrowing in what feels like another lifetime. Her hands are in her pockets and her head is dipped forward, but her eyes are looking up at Lena, and there’s an air of uncertainty to her that Lena hasn’t seen in nearly a year. It steals the breath from her lungs and the words from her mouth, and her lips part wordlessly as they watch each other across the threshold.

“Hi,” Kara says softly.

Her weight shifts to rest unevenly on one leg as she looks at Lena, and Lena remembers how easy it was to talk to her, once.
