These adorable St. Patrick's Day cookies are not only adorable but also delicious. The marbled green and white dough creates a festive appearance that is ideal for celebrating the Irish spirit. Decorate them with colorful sprinkles for a tasty treat to share with your friends and family on this special occasion!
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. Green food coloring. Assorted colorful sprinkles. Powdered sugar for rolling out the dough.
Instructions: Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Mix the egg and vanilla extract in well until everything is well mixed. Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the wet ingredients slowly while mixing them together. Do this until a dough forms. Split the dough in half, making two equal parts. To make one part green, add food coloring and knead it until the color is spread out evenly. Put both pieces in the fridge for at least 30 minutes after wrapping them in plastic wrap. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Roll out a little of each color of dough into a small ball. Put a green dough ball and a non-green dough ball together and press them together gently to make a marbled look. Put the dough balls that have been marbled on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Use your fingers to slightly flatten the balls. Add different colored sprinkles to the cookies to make them look nice. Put the cookies in an oven that is already hot and bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. For an extra touch, sprinkle powdered sugar over the cookies after they have cooled. Enjoy your Super Cute St. Patrick's Day Cookies!
