너의 의미 (The Meaning of You) | 아이유 (IU) feat. 김창완 (Kim Chang-wan)
Now watching: 1. Superdaddy yeol (Lee Dong Gun, Lee Yoo Ri, Lee re) I've been waiting for this show since they show the teaser. I got a feeling that this drama will be a fun romcom, since the team behind this drama was Marriage not Dating team. (I love that drama!) And since we hardly see Lee Dong Gun on TV, I was really looking forward to see this drama. This drama tells a sstory of a single mom (Cha Mirae) who was diagnosed with end stage cancer and only have 1 year to live. She use that 1 year to find (make) a father for her daughter(Sarang). So, she met her ex boyfriend (Han Yeol) and decide (unilaterally) to make him the father. It was funny and exciting how she tried to change his bachelor habit of going around the house half naked (thank God for Lee Dong Gun hot body.) and how he tried to get recognition from the daughter. Although some think they have excessive sound effect, i actually find that funny. Excessive, but funny. And then Cha Mirae decided to be an idiot. Second half of the drama is about the single mom now leaving the dad because she dont have much longer to live, and decide to make a misundertanding so the dad will leave her. Why would she force yeol to be a father in the first place if she's going to leave him again? I hate this kind of thing. Making your other half misunderstand. It already 12 episodes now. Yeol already found out who Sarang's father is, and i hope the writer really make a good ending for this drama. 2. Falling for Innocence (kim So Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoon Hyun Min) First, I love kim so yeon. I've watched some of her works and she's really great. I've never watched jung kyung ho drama, but im sure i will want to watch all of his drama after this. The story is about a person who is evil and have no heart (jung Kyung Ho/Kang Min Ho) that needs a heart (literally, cuz he has dilated cardiomyopathy and will die if he doesnt get a new heart) after he got a new heart, he become attracted to a girl who was the donor fiance (Kim So Yeon/Kim Soon Jung). Falling for soonjung's preview gives the vibe of a romcom. But the first 2 episodes felt like melodrama with all that family problems, accident, secret etc. And i dont really understand the business talk. (Bond, selling the factory, i have no idea what actually kang minho do for a living) so im watching this drama but not paying attention to all of the business talk. After minho got his new heart, his character is more likeable. He smiled a lot, still a jerk, but more handsome. He's more human. And i love that he is so lost with his own feeling and figuring out how to get close to soonjung. LOL. I dont know wheteher this is a melo or a romcom but i really like their relationship now. Its still 6 episode and i'm starting to like this drama more each episode. And now i want a lollipop!
SuperDaddy Yul ♥ Recap 04
SaRang’s first reaction to Yul as a dad is negative. Yul is analog while SaRang and MiRae are digital. SaRang is humiliated by the fact that it was her mom Yul was talking about who stuck to him like glue when he said “No”
But you can’t accurately judge a person until you get to know him. SaRang prefers DrSin but she she doesn’t have a choice until she gets to know Yul.
SaRang tells Yul she will never call him “Dad” but she will call him teacher and she kicks him in the shin on the way out. MiRae says it must be fate since they already met and Yul says it might be an evil destiny like their past.
SaRang wants to know why MiRae chose Yul. He’s positive, emotional, warm hearted, and makes a person want to trust him. He a bit clumsy but he keeps his promises to the point of putting his life on the line.
SaRang thinks it’s her fault the MiRae wants to live with that caveman doctor but it’s more than that. What MiRae wants is what SaRang needs.
MiRae kept Yul from getting fired and offered to take care of his father but it’s more than that for him too. He started to want to love again.
MiRae, SaRang, and their dog, “Papa” move into Yul’s apartment with their stuff including a piano and new sofa. Then she proceeds to throw his stuff out. She even puts his record collection into storage.
Also there will be no marital intimacy until they are actually married.
MiRae prepares a veggie meal and throws out all of Yul’s junk food.
Yul is allergic to dog hair and threatens to get catch the dog and eat him. SaRang says he is cruel and orders Papa to bite him. Papa is very obedient.
On the way to school SaRang accidentally sends a text to her crush and then hides when he walks up to the car. Yul doesn’t cover for her so she runs away.
JiHye wants to take over Yul’s rehab but MiRae says that’s what she came for. She will take charge of teaching Yul and the injured pitcher’s surgery.
Yul comes in and MiRae reminds him that she will be teaching him and he will rehabilitate SaRang. A sprained ankle doesn’t need rehab but his first assignment is to find out why SaRang is so negative and fix it.
MiRae is in charge of Yul now and he has to listen to her 100%. She has also taken over the care of his father.
Since Yul and MiRae plan to be married in three months Dad’s feels like he fulfilled Yul’s mom’s last wish before she died. MiRae got him a room near the intersection by the hardware store. Family is about sharing after all.
Dad plans to do a lot of dating and MiRae approves. She says it’s better than laying around waiting to die.
SaRang has a report to make for parents day and goes to DrSin for help.
DrSin calls MiRae and she sends Yul to get SaRang. DrSin asks if MiRae is really going to get together with Yul and Yul says they are living together. But what does Yul have to offer SaRang? Yul says family is about sharing.
While Yul and DrSin are talking SaRang gets a text from her crush. He invites her to meet him but fails to tell her it’s BoMi’s birthday party.
Crush knows that SaRang is mad at him and BoMi interrupts to asks if she got a step father? Yul embarrasses her by saying that is correct. He is her dad now.
SaRang runs home and locks herself in her room to cry. Yul goes out for beer and MiRae want’s to know what happened. Yul doesn’t understand how MiRae can change everything in his house without changing their relationship. He accepted the deal because he wanted to be with her.
MiRae’s report on family and friends is very jaded. Don’t trust teachers because they play favorites. Don’t trust friends because they stab you in the back. Parents are irresponsible. Promises and love are made to be broken.
When Yul went out for beer the dog got out. Papa is SaRang’s most valuable treasure and Yul promises to find him. He prints out flyers offering a $100 reward and gets a call. He tells SaRang to wait until he gets back.
Papa is found and Yul has learned the commands to make him obedient.
SaRang falls asleep waiting for Yul and MiRae carries her home. SaRang accidentally got Yul’s treasured USB and hands it to MiRae. Besides some adult videos Yul saved all the pictures he took with MiRae when they were together. MiRae flashes back to those times and their separation and the accident that kept them from meeting the last time. She goes out in the rain to find him. He mumbles that he found Papa and she kisses him. MiRae likes analog. Viki
SuperDaddy Yul ♥ Recap 02
Back while MiRae is unconscious she dreams about her relationship with Yul when they were younger. He asks how she feels about him as a man.
When she wakes up MiRae’s doctor gives her the bad news. She only has a year to live but the good news is that her bosses don’t know yet.
After picking up SaRang MiRae notices a man who looks a lot like Yul chasing them with a book bag. She asks if SaRang was with someone? When she answers that it was a kidnapper-style baseball coach MiRae is startled.
DrSin is waiting in front of their house when they get there. SaRang called him when she couldn’t get in touch with her mom. He invites himself in but MiRae says the timing isn’t right.
SaRang runs into her room and locks the door while MiRae wonders about the mysterious man chasing the cab. Lots of people resemble Yul to her.
On the way to work MiRae is spaced out and collides with another car. The angry driver of the other car scolds her “If you keep driving like this you die” MiRae breaks down asking if he could extend her life if she drives better.
When she gets to work she has to party with the dirty old men again. Only this time there are other more willing women.
MiRae meets with the patient she gave the death sentence to and this time they have a quiet conversation. Patient has accepted the fact that she is dying and trusts her husband to care for their child when she is gone. But what if you don’t have family? Patient advises her to make one. A husband would be best.
MiRae meets SaRang on the track field and reminds her that she wished for a dad that she could see. MiRae promises to get a dad for Sarang’s birthday.
Her first prospect is DrSin who already offered. But when she asks if he really wants to be a father or husband he nearly chokes so he is eliminated.
Pitcher decides to downplay Yul’s assault because they are both sad but the damage has already been done. He asks for the best neurosurgeon.
DrShin meets SaRang to find out how to court MiRae. SaRang says that gifts and a proposal might help but love is hard.
Director Hwang asks MiRae to do the surgery on the famous pitcher but her schedule is already full. They are interrupted by DrSin with a proposal. After MiRae racks him she goes back to find a note from Director.
Director noticed that MiRae’s eyes are a little jaundiced and reminds her once again that life is shorter than she thinks.
Yul still has a couple of friends left. It’s pretty certain that CoachJerk will get Yul fired so what will he do next?
JiHye confesses that she likes Yul. Apparently she confesses to him a lot and gets rejected enough to remember his excuses exactly. As long has he remains alone he has nothing left to lose.
MiRae stalks Yul and is happy to learn that he is still single. She remembers the way she rejected him and whispers “I’m sorry” Don’t know if she is sorry for the past or what she is about to do to him. Good thing he has nothing left to lose.
SaRang sees her crush being bullied and rushes to defend him. The bullies are getting the better of them when Yul happens by. SaRang runs to him calling him “Dad” She tells him to yell at the bullies but he only waves at them.
Yul tries to give SaRang some fatherly advice but she tells him to buzz off. He is late to the director’s meeting and has already been judged and sentenced.
MiRae tells Director she will do the pitcher’s surgery with one condition. They have connections that can prevent Yul from being fired.
MiRae’s condition is that Yul be put in 3 months rehab and she will be his coach.
Of course Yul runs away but MiRae chases him with a marriage proposal. Viki
