I've been a fan of hers since she did the Magnolia soundtrack, which is FLAWLESS and don't get me started on how I get when any song from Bachelor no. 2 comes on... but I cannot explain how much this album means to me... as a person who has suffered from lifelong depression, her lyrics are comforting and amazing...and she GETS me. The Both * Milwaukee

I've always loved Aimee Mann's voice. On this project she teams up with Ted Leo and they really sound great together. This is one of my favorite tracks from the record.

For the rest of the year I'm revisiting some of my favorite songs from my favorite records of the year. These are the songs that I couldn’t shake from my head. The songs that have specific memories associated with them. The songs that provided the soundtrack of my 2014.

The Both * Milwaukee

I wasn’t expecting to like this new record from Aimee Mann and Ted Leo as much as I do. Not sure why - because it is Aimee Mann and Ted Leo after all. I love Aimee Mann’s voice. Always have - since the first time I heard Voices Carry. This is one of my favorite songs from the new record. The Both is my artist of the weekend.
