Welcome to my blog. I normally don't tag anything but entry #, but this is a special post for my hardcore superflat world.
I had planned on creating another update when I had at least finished the circle of the island, adding update screenshots of the in progress farmland and barn but. I guess not.
I always assumed I'd die in some foolish way, but I always figured being shit at combat and easily overwhelmed would be my downfall, not a literal fall. Day 288.
I'll give it a once-over in spectator mode with you all before it gets archived to my memories, only to exist on this blog.
Oh that's very nice. Good thing I have simple coordinates..
Okay, a touch off base, but cool to see things from this angle, let me turn off chunk lines
Had to turn on LAN cheats to shift out of spectator for some chunks to load in.
This is where the farmland would have gone, 12x12 plots for each crop type. I had already started hiding some lighting under moss carpets, so I was gradually taking them out so the blocks wouldn't go wasted underneath the dirt. Broke a glowstone, jumped after the dust. Didn't slow down fast enough with my elytra and the rest is history...
The lights look pretty cool from the bottom, but i had actually planned on building down a kind of netherrack floating island vibe on the bottom.
I'm running out of images and I want to keep this to one post, so here's a collage of the house before moving on to the world one final time
This is where I farmed up most of my moss, using a couple of blocks I got from a wandering trader to mass bone meal. I also really liked making a lake for one of my slime-chunk takeover projects. I didn't want to flood the entire map with water like I saw a couple of youtubers do, so non-slime spawning blocks had to be used. Glow squids spawning in this lake is new though, side effect of the expansion.
Because of zombies and me kidnapping a few villagers, the nearby village is completely empty. This is what the trading post looks like fully shut off, last time I was inside I was hiding from skeletons and made a run for the portal to recoup and hopefully re-emerge back up top (i did)
This was really fun, I highly suggest people to try superflat survival (on Java, Bedrock is programmed to generate differently) if you struggle with caves and prefer to wander and trade.
I'm glad I did this, it was the first time I've ever beat the dragon even if I did forget to grab its head from the end ships :')
I might continue doing these as a regular survival world with keep inventory on, but I want to hunt for a good seed for a spawn base. I'd rather not be thousands of blocks away from home after dying like this time.
