sometimes i wonder if vic ever saw himself in chosen; powerless, scared. made and used and hurt by the same hands that made him. i hope he’s guilty about it, now. i hope it haunts him just a little to stare into those dead, glazed over eyes and see yourself looking back.

a drawing idea I’ve had floating around for a while is a series of song cover art but it’s ava themed… I was so sure i’d draw chosen first since he’s my favorite, but because of this song i had the idea of viramitsi slowly literally poisoning victim just by being in his life and not being bothered in the slightest by it. to her, he gets so sweet when he’s out of it !!

thinking about my new(not new. i’ve had it stewing for a month i just now put it to paper) blocktales au . basically the au is "hey what if player actually listened to the 'okay don't touch the ghostwalker' thing but it wouldnt have mattered anyway since they were already a blank slate"
anyway so they just. use the ghostwalker very carefully. never enter the dream world no nothing. and then they get past ch4. and they hate themselves for it more than they hate anything, truly believe themselves rotten for what they've done to trotter and his crew.
…they get a call card! it simply appears in their inventory at the dead of night after they return to shedlesky. the card’s name is obfuscated. it looks like the ghostwalker sword card, though…
they use it and it all it does is damage them. cuts their health in half-- raises their attack and sp forcefully, in a way that stays even after the battle's over. in a way that stacks no matter how much they use the card. (until they die, of course. then it's reset to their base stats, and it stings every time).*
*its a hatred call card but they dont know that yet L
they keep going, of course. they’re the only one who remembers their deaths— the weight clearly just proof they need to be better. that they’re not good enough to make sure nothing like what they’ve done happens again.
oh and they start seeing shit LOL they did not fucking take seeing god and accidentally sacrificing someone very well
i like to imagine they're played by someone dead set on 100%ing blocktales. never given a moment to just sit with it all. always striving for perfection like it'll give them absolution. even as it starts to eat them alive. and they never entered the mindscape in ch3 so while there was nothing in there at the time, now it's had time to fester. time to grow like mold.
