Trevor Lefkowitz aka The Magic Finger
Trevor Lefkowitz is a Wall Street stockbroker, the secret admirer of Hetty Woodstone, and a member of the Main Team at Woodstone. He is the superhero, The Magic Finger!
But before he was the Magic Finger, Trevor grew up in New Jersey with his Jewish family where he discovered his telekinetic abilities in his teenage years. Trevor was playing Super Mega Bowl with his younger brother Jeremy where he won and Jeremey said he cheated by giving him a Wet Willy. Teasing his little brother and doing his signature T-Money gesture, Trevor gets up and tells Jeremey it’s time for lunch. Huffing, Jeremey gets up and challenges Trevor to race him down the stairs. He takes it and they both run to the dining room. However, Jeremey almost falls down the stairs and fearing for his brother, Trevor unleashes his powers to stop Jeremy’s fall and sets him gently on the lower floor. Trevor made Jeremy promise not to tell of the incident to their parents, and to this day Jeremey kept his promise.
As Trevor got older, he learnt how to control his power and even used it to pull ghost pranks on people. After he graduated high school, he went to college and later got a job on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers where he got pulled into the playboy life. In his adult years, he got a loyal dog Bucky, who Trevor loves and adores.
At his job, his colleague and “friends” were David Woodstone, Ari Cantor, and Chet with whom they called themselves “The Bros.” They had a newcomer named Pinkus who got a promotion, and they decided to go to Woodstone Mansion while David’s aunt and uncle were gone for vacation. At Woodstone, Trevor drank a lot of alcohol and took two unknown pills, but he didn’t pass out until later on in the night. The Bros dared Pinkus to do the “Run of Fun,” in which he was supposed to run pantless to the city and back. When out of the Bros' sight, Trevor gave Pinkus his pants and underwear so he wouldn’t have to do it, and lied to the Bros that he slept with the hot limo driver.
Later, the alcohol and drugs start to kick in, making Trevor pass out and appear dead. The Bros, fearing that they’ll spend life in prison, threw Trevor’s body in the lake and disappeared into the night. Waking up in water, Trevor quickly swam up to the surface, pulled himself out, and watched his “friends” run off without him before finally passing out. Trevor wakes up to the sun out and a beautiful, orange-curled woman standing over him. “Am I in Heaven?” He asked. The woman chuckled, “Not quite, my pantless fiend.”
The woman introduced herself as Henrietta Woodstone and offered Trevor her husband’s pants, which he didn’t give her permission. The husband in question, Elias, comes outside to see why Hetty was outside and sees her talking to a man who was… wet? Noticing Trevor has the same pants as him, Trevor tells him that they have the same taste and waves the couple goodbye as his dignity is left behind.
After the incident, Trevor left Lehman Brothers, never saw the Bros or Pinkus again and had to look for a new job. One upside is that he gets to see Bucky more often! Plus there’s another upside. Forever grateful to Hetty (and totally not due to a crush on her), Trevor comes back to Woodstone every now and then, often playing pranks on the guests with his telekinetic powers. One day, Hetty caught Trevor using his powers and Trevor tries to play it off as her having ghosts in her house. Blackmailing Trevor by telling him she’ll tell everyone what she saw and “having” video proof, Trevor agrees to follow her and meet people he has never seen before. They all greeted each other and Hetty asked Trevor one question that she asked everyone in the room before him: “Do you have the makings to be a superhero?"
From that day on, Trevor would be the last person to join the Main team and be known as The Magic Finger. Well… not until Sam enters the picture.
…Julia wouldve loved to see me like this.
Pete Martino aka Teleo Trooper
Pete Martino is part of the Main Team of Woodstone, best friend of Alberta Haynes, and the superhero, Teleo Trooper!
Before he started a hero's life however, Pete was (and still is) a respected travel agent and girl scout troop leader. He is the (ex)husband of Carol and father of Laura. Pete is a sweet man and is a friend to anyone in need of one (though it does tend to get overbearing to others). He was best friends with Jerry (keyword WAS) and was always willing to help his scouts if they had any problems.
Pete discovered his superpower of teleportation in his adult years when he was taking his daughter to the zoo. Laura really wanted to see the penguins but the penguins weren’t open to viewing that day. Saddened by his daughter’s disappointment, he told her that one day they’ll go to Antarctica so she can see penguins all the time. Laughing at her father’s antics, Laura argued that they can’t but Pete said they can. He said "Antarctica, here we come!” And Antarctica they went.
Suddenly hit by the cold, Pete picked Laura up to try and protect her from it but the two were shivering as snow and winds hit them and blocked their sight. Laura yells “I want to go home!” in her father’s ear and Pete reassured her, “We will go home! I promise!” And they landed on the floor of their living room, snow on the father and daughter’s bodies and on the floor. Reeling in from their little ‘adventure’, Pete looks to the couch… where Carol and Jerry were making out on… Yeah… Saying that day was full of surprises was an understatement.
Naturally, Pete and Carol got a divorce with Laura sharing days with them as part of their custody agreement. Depressed on how his life is going, Pete went down a spiral and so did his jobs, almost getting fired. That’s when he met Alberta Haynes, a rising jazz singer in a WALMART of all places.
The two actually hit it off and though they’re not in a relationship (yet…), the two made an unlikely pair of friends. Pete, the trusting man that he is, shared with Alberta his superpower, teleporting them to a nearby park from her house. Alberta was astounded, and to Pete’s surprise, showed him her superpower of sonic scream revealing she’s Sonic Jazz! She immediately covered his mouth to stop him from revealing her hero identity and offered Pete a chance to see others from her team.
Of course Pete took the offer, and that’s how the Teleo Trooper was born!
Ghosts Superhero AU Lore: Sam and Hetty
In the Superhero AU, Sam and Hetty are sisters with Hetty being the oldest by 3 years and Sam being the youngest. Sam had the superpower to see ghosts when she was a baby, but she was mistakenly diagnosed with schizophrenia and was put on medication to ‘treat’ her.
The medicine did help, but Sam still saw visions of ghosts, which earned her the title of “The Weird Girl” and made her an outcast in school. However, Hetty didn’t face that backlash since she had the power of enhanced intelligence, making her a female version of Sheldon Cooper and Sherlock Holmes. She had the highest GPA out of everyone in her school, and advanced to higher classes which she excelled in. Sam developed a hatred for Hetty since she didn’t help defend her and seemingly cast her aside for the majority of her life growing up.
After high school, Hetty dated a man named Elias Woodstone and got married to him. Sam was invited to the wedding, but she was not at all Hetty’s maid of honor or even one of her bridesmaids! Due to this, Sam left the party earlier, growing the wedge between her and her older sister more. Years later, Hetty divorced Elias for reasons unknown to the public, after slowly building a B&B she earned after the divorce (thanks to her superpower and winning most custody on certain properties of the marriage).
Sam got married to a man named Jay Arondekar, a talented chef and the most perfect man in Sam’s opinion. She didn’t invite Hetty to her wedding nor let Jay know she had a sister. Jay knew Sam had schizophrenia, but it didn’t bother him, even going so far to pick up her medication and remind Sam to take it when she forgets, which made her very happy.
One day, Sam received a letter from Hetty to see her and be around her again. She told Jay that a friend of hers wanted to meet up at Woodstone B&B (Hetty’s B&B), and Jay had no problem with it. He helped her pack and put stuff in the car, and though he wanted to go with her, Sam declined saying her ‘friend’ didn’t want any plus ones. They kissed each other goodbye and Sam left.
Little did Sam know that her life is about to change forever when she lets Hetty back into it.
Isaac Higgintoot aka the Revolutionary Soldier
Isaac Higgintoot is the hero, The Revolutionary Soldier, and part of the Main Team at Woodstone. He’s best friends with Hetty Woodstone, friends with Sass and Thor, and has a crush on Nigel Chessum -a hero and leader of the British Soldiers. But they don’t know that Isaac isn’t from this era…
That’s right! Issac is from the 1770s, the time of the American Revolution and he was one of the captains of the Rebels. He had a feud with Alexander Hamiltion since he stole his ruffle and he had a wife named Beatrice who he didn’t have an interest in (partly because he was gay but he doesn’t need to know that).
During the war, Isaac was on the brink of losing soldiers due to limited supplies and the enemy was on the other side ready to fight them. “I need more time, I need more time!” He chanted repeatedly one night, and then he was sent to the early 2000s. He landed on his campsite which soon became part of Woodstone and he met Hetty, recently divorced and went on a walk to take a break (not for any other reasons). She helped Isaac, got him used to the current times, and somehow he managed to fool the super-intelligent woman that he was part of her era and didn't came from the 1770s.
Soon more heroes will join the duo, to all Isaac lied to and said that he wasn't a super like them. Despite that, he would help the team and joining most missions (the missions he didn’t go one were the ones his teammates deemed too dangerous since he’s “human”).
He tries learning how to control his powers, but to no avail. It seems no matter hard Isaac tries he can't seem to use it when he wants to. But he doesn't let that stop him, working on a way to get back to his era and get back to the people he left alone. Isaac has this guilt that gnaws at him every time he thinks about leaving his troops alone and his wife Beatrice alone. Isaac always wonders what Beatrice thought of him: Did she hate him? Did she know that he was gay? Did she think he abandoned her?
He’ll never find out... Until Sam comes into the picture and tells Isaac Beatrice was watching over him the entire time as a ghost.
