🎶Run baby run🎶 A bunch of my church buddies and I went to the Orange County Superhero 5k Run Walk Health & Safety Expo this past weekend ^-^ If I’m being completely honest, I had no idea what the 5k was for/supporting LOL I just signed up to spend time with the homies 🙈 but was glad to find out what my registration $ went towards xD . I’ve actually never run 5k before until this :O although I used to run 2 miles a day until I got shin splints 😭 Lesson learned: quality running shoes are a necessary investment ;-; . Thankfully I have better shoes now and I didn’t feel any pain when running the 5k 🙌 to be fair though, I tried to run on the grass when I could and I really only “ran” the last 10% of the 5k 😂 I actually just jogged most of the way, got hella tired so I walked for a little bit, then finished by running . AND YA BOY GOT A 33 MIN TIME :D I knew it’d be difficult, but I didn’t expect it to be THAT difficult ahahas it probably would have helped to have distance markers and if I was listening to music while running . The ridiculously photogenic guy makes it look so easy ;-; ahahahas anyone else remember that meme? . I had a super day with super friends at the superhero 5k yesterday 😉 whew, that course had so many hills haha and I know I wouldn’t have been able to push myself as hard if I didn’t have @jlaw311 by my side !!
