     With only a few months left until he would be officially done with the auror training program, James was officially having his ass beat. He was tired after a long day and really just wanted a drink. His feet seemed to carry him to Marlene’s place without a second thought: it was the usual hangout of him and his friends, usually the boys could get a little discount, maybe even a freebie, if they stayed on their best behavior. As James pushed open the door, his immediately fell to the bar, happy to his usual stool empty and favorite blonde working behind. “ McKinnon! How are ya, love? ” James spoke happily, taking a seat at the bar. He leaned onto the bar slightly, a grin plastered onto his face.
