superman!darry tripping because of kryptonite in the area and then falling right on a sharp rock of it, getting a wound (which is a first enough of itself) that wouldn't quite heal right, leaving him with his first scar.

Mr and Mrs Curtis realise their little boy isn't as invulnerable as they thought.

Darryscrow has a Superman au for Darrel and it's been eating my brain as of recently, and it's been making me think about the scene in like any Superman movie/show/comic/etc where Lois Lane jumps out of a window to prove Clark is Superman and who would be the one to replace her in that scene. I've settled on Tim just because I think he'd be very stubborn about stuff he's sure about or has a hunch about. Idk, maybe Crow has this thought written somewhere with smth completely different but I just needed to put this somewhere.

Superman!Darry didn't originally look like Darrel. He had black hair and piercing blue eyes.

But in a matter of months, his hair became a lighter brown, his eyes a slightly duller blue with green accents, his facial features picture perfect to Darrel's old baby photos – this trend only continued as he grew up, practically a little clone of Darrel.

Superman (Smallville) Darry Curtis AU

Set in 2003, Smallville Oklahoma.

Darrel Curtis & Martha Curtis found Darry during the 1989 meteor shower and took him in to their farm.

A year later, Martha against all odds, became pregnant, had Sodapop. Two years later, has Ponyboy. They call Darry their miracle, and suspect he's the reason that her pregnancy was possible.

Darry had always had strength and invulnerability ever since he arrived on Earth, but he was so closely guarded by his parents he didn't realise until he was 14 and told by his parents he's an alien when his invulnerability was undeniable after an accident.

Sodapop and Ponyboy obviously had to find out too, and love to pester Darry until he throws them up into the air.

The boys go to a joint high school and middle school.

Mr Curtis had forbidden Darry from trying out for football, afraid that he might hurt someone by accident.

Paul Holden, son of Lionel Holden, moves into Smallville in 2003 and promptly becomes friends with Darry after getting saved by him in a car accident - unbeknownst to Darry, Paul investigates him, having a hunch that he isn't what he's trying to seem.

Ponyboy and Cherry Valance run the Torch, the school newspaper.

Keith Mathews was the first non-family member to find out about Darry being alien after finding his ship in a field and Darry spilling the truth.

Darry helps out around the farm daily.

Darry loves the idea of playing the guitar, but keeps breaking the strings by accident; he likes to play to the cows for the few minutes they aren't snapped.

Dallas also comes to Smallville in 2003, originally from New York.

Steve, Johnny, Two-bit, and Dallas are like family to the Curtis's.

Darry starts to develop his powers at 17, a late bloomer for a kryptonian standards (not like they'd know)

Darry freaked out after he woke up flying for a second, and broke his bed once he fell. He found it hard to tell his dad, who wasn't mad. But extremely exhausted that his son could fly. (At least he hasn't learned how to yet)

The Curtis parents still die once Darry’s 20, on the date that they'd found him. Darry forever beats himself over it – with his superspeed he could've run over to the train and stopped it, if only he would've known.
