And that got me thinking about how Spiderverse Miguel and MAWS Brainiac are somewhat similar

Both in a way believe what they’re doing is right but are taking very extreme measures to do so,Braniac wants to rebuild the Kryptonian empire and is willing to destroy planets,Miguel wants to protect the multiverse and is willing to let people die to do so

Both had a blonde female helping their cause who then betrayed them due to them realizing how their methods were wrong.

Both lost their world, Braniac lost Kyrpton and Miguel lost an alternate version of his original universe

Both are evil(or Anti Heroic in Miguels case) counterparts to the one they oppose in their origin media, Clark is the opposite of what Braniac thinks a Kryptonian should be while Braniac embraces that lifestyle and mindset meanwhile Miles and Miguel are successors to Peter and have abilities he didnt but Miles wants to do his own thing and write his own story while Miguel believes following the “canon” is the only way to keep the multiverse in tact.

And of course as some of you know Miguel’s suit was supposed to be(and sometimes is still called) black making him look more like MAWS Brainiac
