Superman 1978 | dir. Richard Donner
I’m watching Reeve’s Superman movies (currently watched the first two) and I really enjoyed them, but if there’s one thing that I didn’t like is the fact time travel takes place at the end of both for Superman to “fix things”. For me, it just takes away the stakes. We watched all those events unfold and at the end they don’t even exist? They don’t matter? It’s a bummer for me

Superman: The Movie / Superman IV: The Quest For Peace
I love how nearly everyone is calling for a return to Donner’s Superman nowadays, after Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. when there already was a return (or quasi-return) to that universe, it was called Superman Returns. everyone hated it and it sucked as a movie in terms of actual script.
