HEY GUYS! I made a flag for supernovagender! It's a gender whose concept aligns with a supernova! (Yes, it is different from supernovian.)
Supernovagender is a xenogender (both noungender and aesthetigender) that mirrors the dramatic lifecycle of a dying and reborn star. Supernovagender is an identity of intense contrasts: vibrant and impulsive on the surface, yet deeply shaped by moments of internal collapse and hardship. Rather than fading away, this pressure culminates in a brilliant explosion of bold self-expression, defining a resilient drive to endlessly recreate oneself from the cosmic dust.
The gender identity and why dysphoria happens: Being supernovagender is literally being a supernova - an internal collapse of gender where the identity wants to push outward yet stays inward. This manifests through behaviours such as impulsivity, self-sabotaging behaviours and constant kindness. Someone with supernovagender could experience gender dysphoria as supernova are being forced in a box, unable to express their "explosivity" and being told everything supernova do is dramatised as their cosmic and spiritual nature is confined to a balanced, bodily form. Being dimmed and neglected also causes dysphoria.
Gender expression: A supernovagender expresses supernovaself through bold, wild, vibrant, cosmic, "star-dust" colours and explosive. Some common styles could be: Goth, Decora, Fruiteger Aero, Technozen, Dreamcore, Celestial aesthetics. The texture is a balance of rough and smooth surfaces, reflecting the internal battle of explosivity. The lack of shape and sound within the gender reflects space, an ever-changing concept that is continually growing. The look of a supernovagender is ever-changing, sometimes conveying a "glow" within expression.
Social role: Supernovagender's social role is being a truth-teller, a catalyst that renews everyone's perspective. Supernova shake the idea of tradition and oppressive groups being normalised. Supernova spark changes and show perspectives of each side. However, when pressure or emotion becomes overwhelming, supernova explode from the pressure. Supernova usually validate the collapse of others, reassuring the pain is normal and does not need to be hid. Supernova also help shift community ideas, suggesting all viewpoints and solutions as one coherent explosion of a vibrant reality. The social role of a supernovagender manifests as something aunthetic and needed in society.
The meaning of the colours and why they were specifically chosen: #d92b6b (magenta): Magenta is a colour that represents sophistication, harmony, balance, creativity, and cheerfulness. The bold hue was used to represent the bold and authentic identity of supernovagenders. Magenta was also a rare colour to get in olden times, representing the rarity and authenticity of supernovagenders. #711a49 (dark magenta): This colour represents the idea that there is a darker side within the supernovagender; it also shows the literal inner collapse of the gender, common in supernovagenders. The conflict between the dark colour below and the light colour above shows a transition between the dark and light of humanity and society. #080926 (deep navy blue): This colour is beautiful in my opinion; it shows the "dark side" of supernovagenders and represents the explosivity and darkness of the space around them. It shows the elegance and authority of supernovagenders, they dominate a room without having to say anything nor act extraverted, their elegance rules the area around them. #dee1fb (icy white): This colour was used to create a high contrast between the black stripes surrounding it. The icy blue represents the purity and harshness of a supernovagender. It is also similar to the colour of the highest temperature and artificial light, representing the limit and being tired of BS. It can also represent the artificial personality of a supernovagender. #70bf96 (minty green): The minty green colour of the emblem represents the envious, glowing and growing nature of a supernovagender. The intellectual and fresh colour also creates a harsh contrast with the magenta colours behind it on the flag. The growing gender identity thrives through being similar to cosmic dust. Also, green shows the natural and authentic nature of a supernovagender as well. #[will be updated] (golden yellow): The golden yellow colour of the emblem represents caution and energy of a supernovagender. It screams "supernova", and the golden hue also creates a high contrast of the deep navy blue colour. - All descriptions made by me. All images were made by me.
