Review of SUPIYO’s Chaga Birch Forest Mistic Toner
SUPIYO is a Korean brand that bases its aesthetics and design harness the power of the nature of the forest. Their Chaga Birch FOREST Mistic Toner is designed to quench skin with the forest nourishing ingredients. It's hydrating, soothing and anti-wrinkle. Key ingredients include: 77% of Japanese white birch water (anti-wrinkle, astringent, strengthens skin, anti-aging, detoxifying, skin health), 3% of Chaga mushroom extract (anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-wrinkle) and 0.0005% of beta-glucan (anti-aging, hydrating, prevents moisture loss, anti-irritation, healing). The toner comes in 300 ml (10.14 oz) and has a very light, slightly astringent scent.
This has a basic squeeze cap and this is also marketed as a mist.
The toner is very watery and not tacky at all.
It does a good job of hydrating and refreshing the skin.
It absorbs quickly and immediately plumps up the skin.
Recommended use is after cleansing, take an appropriate amount and apply gently all over the face. For use as a mist, gently mist the face to hydrate and soothe anytime. After using, I can really appreciate this toner as it's very hydrating but contains good ingredients to soothe irritated skin. I found that it isn't an issue for my sensitive skin, the smell of what I think is the chaga is a little strong but it disappears pretty quickly. This toner is very hydrating and moisturizing and also removes dirt easily. The bottle size is great as it'll last a long time and I love multi-use products like this. I haven't used it as a mist, but I do plan to soon. Facial mists are amazing all year round. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry and sensitive skin, but keep in mind there is a fragrance to this toner.
What I like: the ingredients are really great and natural and there's a lot of product and it'll last a long time. The toner itself is moisturizing and hydrating and really soothes my skin. It's non-irritating and while there is a scent, it's not the strongest and it goes away quickly. I love how well this also cleanses and gets rid of dirt and I think it preps my skin well for other products. What I don't like: nothing, only, I wish this had a container with a mister. And the fragrance might bother some. Otherwise, it's great.
