11” Holly wood Phoenix feather core supple
The wand that the famous Harry Potter uses!
It was surprisingly very easy to get Olivander to spill the beans on what his wand was. But I can see why Olivander would choose this wand for the famous ‘boy who lived,’ this wand is truly a special work of art.
Holly is always a beautiful wood, that is a treat to work with. It’s a unique wand wood that allows the core to shine through, without the effects that most wood types have on cores. Because of this, it’s easy to see the uniqueness that the core can show in the wand. The only thing this wood needs to be happy is to have a Witchard to help and protect.
Phoenix feathers are so detached from the Witchard they chose, it actually amazes me. While, yes the core did chose you, it doesn’t trust you until you prove you deserve the core. But after you do convince the core to trust you, it will create a great range of magic.
I can understand why Olivander made this wand Highly flexible. This wand would need as much breathing room as it can get.
Because of this mix, of phoenix feather’s unwillingness to work with the Witchard immediately, and Holly’s instinct to help the Witchard they picked can cause some strange confliction. Often resulting in the wand fighting itself instead of working together.
But if the two materials do agree with each other, and is able to work together long enough to start understanding each other. This core would shine so brightly and beautifully.
