When we breathe from our chest (shallow breathing) we are activating our sympathetic nervous system which keeps us in a fight or flight mode. Being in this type of vibe for a long time can cause high levels of stress which manifests as illness in the body. When we activate the para sympathetic nervous system we are riding that good, peaceful vibe.
