Fun fact to those unaware, Im a voice actor. I have 5 roles under my name (only 1 of them is released though)

Waittt I just deleted my little yapfest to recommend a fiction podcast too

Ok sometime last year I got absolutely HOOKED on this horror podcast called Surcease.

The main gist of it is that our MC, Elias Short is a therapist in training at Sunshine Valley mental institute and he records the session reports of various patients at the hospital. The thing is the stories these patients tell are strange. Like really strange. And it can be chalked up to being an effect of their mental Illnesses sometimes, surely, but it can't simply just be that, y'know.

I guess it's pretty similar to TMA in that regard because it's about a guy recording spooky things that happen to people and it's also pretty fucking gay. I love it so much and the group working on it are so cool and funny and it's pretty indie so it's really just them and their equipment and a banger script. Oh and it has soooo much trans rep. Just the trans rep is off the charts.

I'm a sucker for Surcease's specific brand of mind fuck horror and at times the show really gets to me. Like it tackles so many different forms of horror and mythology and has a cool overarching plot that's slowly tying everything together

It's been on a sort of hiatus since last year which has been DEVASTATING for me but like I recommend it big time to anyone that wants to listen to what are essentially short little horror stories that might just be more connected than you think :D

so, fun fact about me: i'm really into horror. i am constantly seeking out new horror things to make me very very concerned. however, a lot of things i've seen are

-good, but not SCARY, so i'm there for the plot

-scary, but now NEW, so i feel like i'm retracing old ground and the impact is lessened

-just kinda bad lol

anyways, all of this to say that i highly recommend the horror podcast surcease, since the entire second season, my face has been stuck in a permanent D: of joy
