Just yapping about the significance of foils in Resident Evil Requiem this may be very surface level or just make no sense but I have a chest infection bite me

I love love love the themes of doubles(?) foils I think would be the proper word.

Leon and Grace, with Grace being a mirror to Leon's past and trauma but having someone to save her, not use her, in a way she was used by the government (or connections because no way her boss is innocent) and then got out but re2 Leon was helping of his own volition and then was turned into a weapon for the dso, idk if I'm making sense I'm rambling. The "good" side is growing stronger, the bad, weaker, eg the nemesis fight with Victor he's a pale imitation of re3 nemesis. Zeno of wesker.

It's a nice show of how they're losing power imo.

“It’s just a show” yeah a show that cost 1 billion dollars to make yet has a 1/4 of the hardwork and heart the original trilogy had while also looking cheap as fuck? The amount of shirts and chain patterned under armor I have been seeing shows me the people who worked on it didn’t give a fuck past making the aesthetic passable to anyone vaguely aware of Tolkien. Yes, Tolkien isn’t perfect and deserves criticisms, but don’t use that excuse to validate how they butchered fucking everything
