Secrets; task 001

♦ - something no one knows about your muse

Noah doesn’t have very many secrets and the ones he does have are often very trivial, little things about himself that he’s changed to fit more squarely into the image he’s created for himself. The nerd... specifically, the horror nerd. He changes little things. His relationship with his family, the levels of responsibility he has at home, things like that. Things small enough that they don’t fundamentally affect his life. Noah’s biggest secret is perhaps that despite himself, Noah wants to fit in. He’s happy having Audrey as a best friend, but Noah has always felt like an outsider and, as well as he hides it behind acting comfortable in his social station, Noah rather hates feeling outside of everything all the time.

★ - a guilty desire they are ashamed of

Noah hates his cat. It sounds stupid, but to him it’s something he hates. He’s a gamer, a nerd, a geek, he should like his cat. It’s one of the few things he’s been lying about forever, his desire to get rid of the little monster. He does his best to get along with the thing, but it seems determined to suffocate or scratch him to death.

♒ - a secret that’s obvious

Noah likes Riley. A secret that’s so glaringly obvious that everyone is more aware of it than him, even people Noah doesn’t really know.

∇ - a secret about your muses family

Noah’s father isn’t really in the picture and hasn’t been pretty much since Noah is born. Noah is very, very close to his mother and a part of that is that a lot of responsibility falls on him. Noah’s life revolves around his mother in a lot of ways, because she’s in a wheelchair. The woman, who Noah loves dearly, has become a big part of who Noah is because he’s grounded so often in his repsonsibilities that when he’s on his own, Noah often finds himself escaping through pop culture, specifically through horror, as a way to escape the pressures of day to day life. This is also the reason Noah has a cube car (as seen in the show) so that he is able to easily take his mother around day to day.

☼ - a person who knows most of the muses secrets

Audrey. No one knows Noah better than his best friend does. He still has a few secrets, of course, like his cat, but Noah trusts her with just about anything that’s important to him.

♡ - a secret about their love life

It’s no secret to anyone that Noah’s a virgin, but he thinks it is. Or at least likes to pretend it is.

♦ - something no one knows about your muse

Sylvia was born with a twin sister. Unfortunately, her sister had a weak immune system and died when she was five. She still sees her every day.

★ - a guilty desire they are ashamed of

Her fascination with death and what happens on the other side is probably her most well guarded secret. It probably stems from seeing her twin sister’s dead body in an open casket funeral when she was young.

♒ - a secret that’s obvious

She’s unforgiving. Get on her bad side and she’ll make your life a living hell. 

∇ - a secret about your muses family

Her parents were never the same after losing her sister. Her mother turned to alcohol and her father threw himself into work. Neither mentioned her sister ever again after the funeral. all pictures and evidence of her existence were destroyed.

☼ - a person who knows most of the muses secrets

Her dead twin sister and her diary know all of her secrets. After that, probably Brooke Maddox, her childhood friend, knows the most.

♡ - a secret about their love life

She’s ranked every boy that she’s slept with and keeps it in her diary. The rank has been given way too much thought.

♦ - something no one knows about your muse

Eli has had a semi-troubled childhood, with his mother being off the rails and his father an absentee. he’s been in trouble with the law a few times, but he prefers to keep that under wraps since he’s gotten a new start in Lakewood. 

★ - a guilty desire they are ashamed of

Most of the things Eli ‘desires’, he’s not ashamed of. 

♒ - a secret that’s obvious

Though it’s obvious his mom is not a ‘out-together’ adult, Eli rarely talks about it to people he doesn’t know or trust. 

☼ - a person who knows most of the muses secrets

Out of everyone, Kieran probably knows most of Eli’s secrets.
