((Yikes, sorry for you!! ;_;))
[I spend most of my birthday writing yet more of this stuff. That ain't right.]

Hello, then.
I'm being flattered with all this attention.
((You're bringing back all of my Red Dragon feels--thank you much. ;~;; I don't know how to feel! Part of me is sad, and part of me is just like "REBA AND FRANCIS YAAY" Also, may I ask your opinion on Hannibal Rising? Book/Movie/or both?
ooc: Yay! It started because I was looking for screen caps of the movie because I'm too damn lazy to walk over to my bookshelf and grab the movie to take the caps myself. ...
I am forever a huge shipper of Reba and Dolarhyde!!! They are too presh!
Oh yes yes! I won't go into it long winded: But overall, I am a fan of Hannibal Rising, the book moreso than the movie. I like that we can see a younger Hannibal, despite the fact it may try to "dissect" him and give him a cause to his monster status. It adds another dimension to him that made me appreciate the novel Hannibal more (his love for his sister Mischa, etc). Despite the fact I hate Lady Murasaki with a passion (just.because.), and that Harris rushed through writing the novel... I'm still a fan of it. :'D
“Hiya, Neighbor!”
Nathaniel had been building up a string of safe houses in which to store various weapons and books and take his little hook ups, but he preferred to reside most of all in the flat with Susan. Each residence represents a different life, a different persona to be in front of others, a different voice to speak in, a different set of mannerisms waiting to be slipped into like a different suit.
Yet, at Susan's, innocuous Susan's, quiet Susan's, he can behave the most like himself. It's where he can keep his favourite suit, so to speak, and can sit, talking in his own, neutral, non-existent accent. So when Miranda moves into the flat below, it's something of a shock, as if he'd walked into the flat and found her sitting in the tea room, as he thinks of it, rather than just smelling her from the floor below. At first, he simply stops using the stairs, in the hope that he won't bump into her. He doesn't want anything intruding onto his little home, his familiar corner.
Eventually, however, he accepts that she'll notice him eventually - how could she not? - and, as he prefers to do, takes the initiative. He knocks on the door with a potted plant and champagne, as a homewarming thing, and says that he only just realised that he should throw her a homewarming party, which is true, but making it sound as if he only just noticed she was there, which isn't. And they chat amicably, and he goes back upstairs.
They pass each other in the stairwell occasionally, and sometimes he invites her up to the flat for a cup of tea, and she gets on well with Susan. And, eventually, she becomes part of his little corner, his home. She is his neighbour, neighbour to his home. And that's part of his home.
((Regarding Miggs, I "know that feel". I dislike him with a passion of a thousand suns. How dare he do that to Clarice!))
ooc: IT BURNSSSS.
I cry at night. BUT... The action got Dr. Lecter's attention so I should be...thankful for it happening? :'D I'm not sure.
