I saw someone on Twitter asking others when they realized they shipped zutara and it made me remember that on my first ever watch through of atla (when it was dropping new episodes) during the swamp episode when Aang saw Toph for the first time I was so convinced that they would end up together, or at least Aang would end up developing a crush on Toph as well.

So when the show ended the way it did I was so disappointed because at 11 I convinced myself that A) Aang (12) was too young to be dating 14/15 year old katara but crushing on toph (12) was perfectly acceptable and B) I thought the swamp episode of aang seeing toph on the flying boar meant that somewhere down the line when they were older they were gonna end up together.

And its now hitting me that I was never able true ride or die zutara shipper on my first ever watch of atla— I was a hard-core taang shipper.

I need more fics where Tim Drake is being a bully. Personally, I would love to read fics where Tim actively tried his best to find a suitable person to be Robin, anybody but him, and so when he takes up the mantle he does it in a disgruntled employee kind of way.

Like Bruce is being a hard ass but Tim Immovable Object Drake is like, “Bruce I literally am not getting paid for this and I have a Calc exam in three days that I haven’t studied for yet and I need to submit my entry for the Photography Club’s exhibition next week so can you please just shut up and suit up already.” And while Bruce is trying to hash that all out in his brain Tim just slams a thick file on the table next to the Batcomputer and goes, “By the way this is Penguin’s movement for the next two weeks, found out that he’s trying to smuggle weapons for the gang war that Black Mask started.” And then just walks away while Bruce is still puzzling what he said.

And when Jason comes back and tries his whole “Replacement” spiel Tim just gives him a dead stare and goes, “Literally no one wanted this job. I don’t want this job. This job sucks.” And when Jason asks why Tim is still Robin if he hates it so much I want Tim looking Jason in the eye and say, “The benefits are to die for.”

And then when Damian comes along and becomes Robin Tim is a little more than pissed because sure he’s family with these people now and he’s kinda attached to this job he certainly didn’t want in the beginning but now he feels like he’s being promoted without his consent because he most certainly didn’t want more responsibility on his plate; now there’s a gremlin with a katana trying to kill him when all he wants to do is just rot peacefully in the middle of the game room for the next fifty decades because he lost his not-dad and best friends and can’t Dick have a bit of compassion for him he didn’t ask to be the new Nightwing to his Batman this is above his pay grade—

EDIT: When Steph becomes Robin Tim is overjoyed for like 1.5 seconds before he realizes that he’s actually bored as fuck without it and kinda has a realization that maybe being Robin means something to him other than “doing the right thing”.

Can't stop thinking about how after Riku met Xion he knew that Xion had to be connected to Kairi in some way shape or form but had absolutely no clue that Naminé was Kairi's Nobody and going as far as to ask DiZ who is Naminé's person.

And Riku should know because in CoM he commented to Naminé that he knew that she was impersonating Kairi and gave him the strength to accept the darkness and fight towards the light and the Naminé smelled like Kairi but somehow missed that Naminé is Kairi's Nobody.

Idk to me it kinda goes to show that to Riku Naminé was never just a Nobody; she was someone who helped him during his weakest moment in Castle Oblivion and who continued to help him with Sora being in his sleep. To Riku Naminé was a person who later became a friend, and him asking about who's Nobody she is was probably more out of simple curiosity rather any importance like how Roxas is Sora's Nobody and where Xion fit into all of it.

Can anyone help me find this one Batbros fic?

If I remember correctly it's a silly fic where the boys wake up in an alternate dimension where Bruce was never Batman and the boys all became "evil".

So Dick became a Talon, Jason became a Black Mask version of Red Hood, Damian remained in the LOA and Tim was taken in with the Kent family but later down in the fic it's revealed that he's actually a mole sent by Lex Luthor.

I also remember that it's technically not an alternate universe but it's actually magic that tries to erase Batman but couldn't erase the traces of the boy Robins and because of that they were able to remember who they are.

Does anyone know the fic??

Honestly Disney did something so right with Tori/Blake and Kira/Trent with them being mutual crush->enemies->tentative friends->betrayed again->friends->implied lovers

Reverse AU where it's Bruce dying in that warehouse instead of Jason and Jason continues on as Robin while Dick takes up the mantle of Batman.

While both detective geniuses in their own right they aren't the detective Bruce was and crimes are left unsolved a lot longer than normal.

Enter Tim Drake: natural detective watching his heroes become shells of themselves and decides to do something about it, using his abilities to help them solve crimes and be able to provide concrete proof when all else fails.

Years pass and Tim is able to hone in on his skills: unmatched detective reasoning, stealth on par with the Bats, seamless undercover aliases and acting abilities, and his newly honed interrogation skills hidden as unremarkable questions or pointless chatter. Although his computer and hacking abilities arent even close to the same level as Oracle, it's enough that he is able to establish a tentative working relationship with her as his point of contact for information drop off, with his only condition being that if she were to figure out his identity she wouldn't reveal him to anyone unless under dire circumstances.

By the time Tim reached 16 he thought that things were getting better, the Bat brothers were healing—they even added two more vigilantes to the mix—and Gotham was slowly stabilizing to how it was before Bruce's murder. That is until a crop of murders in Park Row catches Tim's attention, unveiling a mysterious father-son assassin duo with an outlandish possibility that could rock the Bats to their core and the unsettling realization that Tim was the next victim on their list.

Someone please say it isn’t so that I just saw with my own eyes in the new Batman comic that just released today that Bruce Wayne, FAMOUSLY KNOWN TO HATE GUNS, did not just fucking shoot a gun at JASON TODD ARE WE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW

Also from my very little understanding of Batman: Knightfall and Batman Prodigal i can now totally understand Tim's actions at having Robin being given to Damian (beside everything about Damian) because Tim was Dick's Robin first and Tim truly believed he would be Dick's Robin again.
