i’m obsessed with jedi who have other religions outside of faith in the force because i think that’s such a fascinating internal conflict and it makes the wires connect in my brain. that’s part of why i love tarre vizsla so much and it’s also part of why i love barriss

like idk anything about mirialan religion but beyond her cultural clothing and tattoos, barriss has idols in her room. of gods!! how do you correlate believing in gods and in the force. did they create the force did the force create them are they the force?? anyway according to canon (derogatory), barriss is a jedi heretic (affectionate). did her beliefs factor into that? can you trust the council as an ultimate authority on the force or morality when you believe in a higher power?

anyway she’s up there with top ten star wars characters i would like to invite to a theological debate. and that’s an exclusive list
