Conny I’m making perogies for dinner, and I just thought you should know that every time I do this I immediately think about Simmer Until Tender.

And then immediately apologize to Poland and Ukraine. Because I know perogies are not pelmeni and to think of something Russian while making something Eastern European is Not Cool.

aaaaaah I love this!!! every culture has a version of dough but put something inside it, and they're all great (except I don't eat meat. why did I write a whole fic about meat-filled dumplings? because I'm not smart, next question.)
