*Kagerou Days ramps up into Outer Science* So a couple years ago I drew some fan art for @suudonym ‘s beautiful fic, Time and Time Again, and so I decided that since it’s been completed I’d redraw this as commemoration of that and to mark improvement in my art over the past 2 years. The Opportunities Were There!!! and sometimes it REALLY felt like they wanted to take them but their hands got slapped away at the last second and we were left with only the potential… but honestly knowing there’s an audience really does make it so much more tempting than it already was to just go ham and write all of the wish-fulfilling whump I can come up with, I’m trying to limit myself for the ososan folks who did Not follow me for kids anime but the POTENTIAL

(is it just me or did someone go ESPECIALLY ham on ep 26 bc there was i think thats the most blood that has ever been on this show i feel (also tasteful without-suit-jacket-plus-ripped-dress-shirt-sleeve joker))

also this might be a bit selfish for me to say this (considering i am the one person you know who desperately wants to read that whump) but FUCK your ososan followers!!! chase your bliss!!!!!!! im personally speaking as an artist who has gained the a great majority of their follower base from a large fandom (AND IS CONTINUING GAIN MORE DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAVENT POSTED FOR THE SAID FANDOM IN LIKE TWO YEARS...) and then migrated into increasingly more obscure fandoms. my followers. get what they get. if i get uhhhhhhhhhhhh 15 notes? compared to like. 700? thats just the way the cookie crumbles. and im fine with it bc honestly im not expecting large reception anymore. its to be expected. everything i create has always been for me only unless it was a gift for a specific person

i guess. you gotta weigh how much you want attention and feedback against how much you want to truly self indulge. which is more important to you? for me personal gratification is first and foremost, and attention is just a bonus. my personal opinion for you is (chanting and rhythmically pounding a table) go ham. go nuts. let the Blood Flow. even if you wont have a large audience at least youve pleased yourself!! and also youll always have at least one reader!! from what i know is that writing things gets easier as long as you know you have at least one reader who will enjoy your work. i know i cant possibly replace the whole volume of your original ososan audience but i am still your dear audience nonetheless

AU where, in Can't Help Falling, Matsuri worked up the courage to just ask Kara out in her last/his first year of high school and they had a great relationship that included him encouraging her to get help for the underlying issues she obviously has and nothing bad happened THE END

*casually plays Kagerou Days in the background* Holy crap, I stayed up way too late for this. But anyway, yay, fanart of one of my favorite on-going Osomatsu-san fics, Time And Time Again by @suudonym because it’s freaking amazing. I just... hope... this looks okay, because I’m very tired and hurting, so my judgement is probably not the best right now... And i had way too much trouble trying to get the calendar in the background to be less obnoxious to look at. Jeez.
